i bought a VLSD off super hicas with 150k miles, after i installed by myself i changed the diff oil in a local shop. now after 1500miles, when i clutch kick around 5000-6000k the wheels will lock but after 1 sec it will stop lock to feel like an open diff again..before was working perfect.. should i change diff oil again? or the stock vlsd is easy to go bad?(gear worn?)

vlsd's are sealed units , changing fluid won't help. sorry . ebay has some suckers that will buy it

shim the hell out of it untill its locked or something.

then put the old fluid back in just because its a VLSD and they should not be treated with respect.

You want to be able to decel drift too right? Not just ebrake your decels? If that is the case you NEED A REAL, RACING LSD. The VLSD will NEVER do decel locking for you. With that fact in mind, thowing it away should be no problem.

New quality VLSD is "ok" for drag racers. Thats about it.

you were expecting a vlsd to do what a mechanical or welded diff can do ?? tisk tisk .... burn that bitch and get a real diff. stop using a band-aid and get it fixed rite
