The sr pulley is 4 ribbed where the ka24de is 2or 3 (I don't really remember)but it will work. I'm running an Isis water and power steering pulley on my ka24de. I can get pictures if you want

A picture would be awesome if you could get one. Thank you both for real input and advice. Small questions was worthless.

No but they reduce the speed of the water pump and fan so your cooling system it more effective at high engine rpms and less parasitic drag from the fan as well if the still use the clutch fan. Plus I love Yashio factory parts and there is no ka24de in Japan for them to make these parts for.

They do make it rev a little more freely.

If I read correctly when I was researching this, you can actually use a stock sr crank pulley to underdrive the ka24de and will allow you to use the proper belts. Again I haven't actually tried but this is what I've read.

...

Yoshio factory bullshit gayjdm pulley.. save 4 oz over stock rotating assemby for bajillion dollar....

Get a lightweight flywheel, and shave 12 LBS off of stock rotating assembly, for 150$...

screw a water pump pulley..

the KA doesnt have a problem with cavatation like the shitty SR

they actuallly did have a ka'd 240 there and they made some parts, but all ka owners were too much of cheapasses and they dropped the idea.
