this is torx: you need something like this: if not, like mrmeph said, you should be able to get at it with a regular hex wrench. |

I have a Sizing chart, but I have to photocopy it.
From what I understand they are only available in 17x7through 17x10 and 18x7 through 18x10. Maybe you can find an older set in those sizes? |

Those are XZN standard fasteners... commonly known as tri-squares. They're there for poor fucks like me to spend money on shit tools for Euro cars. Asian cars have double hex, yay for spending more money on shit.

yep.. all euro cars have them. i call them either tripple boxed or tripple squares. you can buy a really cheap sets to take those out. i have cornwell brand, very nice and not too expensive. my old boss had snap-on and they were VERY expensive!

hey, I was wondering who/where I can find a hood vent like this(just the rivet on vent section). I just figured getting one of these was easier/cheaper that a whole new carbon hood. I found the "identify this" thread but I fail at finding the vent with a search. thanks for the help.

If your on ZT you can PM silentslide AKA Scott because he has that rivet on vent. I will ask him which vent it is because i cant remember the freaking company worth my life....
Here's a vid of his car being tuned: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v5...01_27_2008.flv EDIT: I don't believe scott's is Uras or Raceonusa, but similar looking. |
