Anybody else run into problems with guy? He says he stands by his word, but he left me hanging on parts for a week. Then couldn't even take the time to call me back, and tell me he had sold the parts to someone else. Not much for standing by your word if you ask me.

Ed's always been pretty cool to me, so I can't say much... But then again, I never actually bought anything from him... so again, I can't say much. Decent person, business-man... I don't know. I hope you didn't pay for any parts for him not to just give them to you? That would piss me off too...

why did you pay in full and upfront...? you obviously hadn't seen the engine if you still dont have it, so why pay for it upfront...? thats like buying a swap off of egay....i could understand half upfront but the whole thing....

never dealt with them but my friends car got a swap at drift tec. since he brought home his car, it was a disapointment at the time he took that car out from the shop.

^^^^ Because of Darwin, who works at Drift Tech. Darwin works on Hondas period.

Being in the automotive business, I've seen pretty good people turn into arses from dealing with too many dumb "time wasters" (people who ask a bunch of questions, and ultimately spend nothing). Don't blame him for being a dick sometimes when he doesn't think that the person is actually going to buy anything. Man has a lot of shit on his plate.

same darwin as Hung (sp?) from toysports friend? jw since i bought a car off him back 4 years ago...

Never personally dealt with him, but I've only heard one good thing about him in terms of good service from a close friend of mine, but I've heard two acquaintances of mine say that they did not have good experience dealing with him or Drift Tech
