the s14 5-lug brembo rotors they sell on frsport are for non-abs cars right?
they seem to suck at putting proper info in their product descriptions

okay guys im in need of some serious help with my SR20det its an S13 SR in a hatch, i recently did an engine swap. The problem is that it boggs out between 4500-5000 rpm ant it wont rev up any more than that when its running no matter what gear im in. It seems like its getting fuel cuts or not enough air. I have searched and tried everyones options on this subject but nothing seems to take care of the problem. My engine is stock nothing upgraded besides fmic, an the exhaust. ive been having a problem since the engine swap was done, heres a list of what i have tried to resolve my problem.
i have tried two different engine harnesses 2 different sets of stock injectors 3 different sr20det mafs i have check an recheck for boost leaks i have tried two different walbro fuel pumps ive change out my fuel filter for a 300zx one twice i added a fuel presure regulator thinking the stock one was bad ive change out and gapped my spark plugs i have tried 2 different ECU's ive change out my CAS twice i have check my timing i tried advancing the time I feel like im out of options guys let me know if i missed something ill keep working on it till then. |

What type of power steering fluid should I use in my SR redtop? I've read around and in the FSM it seems Dexron should be used, but I've also read that ATF works just as fine. I have ATF, but I don't have Dexron. Does it really matter? I just want to be sure before I go to the store and buy some.

i just replaced my headgasket and now my s13 ka24de is overheating... >.>
i greatly doubt its the headgasket, unless i warped the head on removal/install i've heard ka24de are notorious for developing air pockets, how can i go about making sure there are none? as well as trying other methods to fix it... i filled it up while it was on an incline with the bleeder screw open so idk

First thing i would always do (if you havent) reaplace the ECT's both the 2 and 1 wire.
If that doesnt change anything, i would next suspect water pump or therno. As far as just burping procedure, I just fillup the radiator slowly with the engine off, until it is full, then run the engine and continue filling as more air escapes. After the radiator is full with engine running, I put the rad cap on and open the bleeder until solid colant/water come out. close the bleeder. I have never had over heating problems, and I pretty much always do it the same way.

Would it be bad if I mixed power steering fluid and Nissan atf? The previous owner of my car put power steering fluid into the reservoir instead of atf. I have a leak and its super low as to where I think the pump is pulling in air. So I was wondering if I can just top it off with atf even though it has power steering fluid in there already without damaging seals, the rack, or the pump. Thanks.

Cut a soda or water bottle in half and flip it. Fill your new DIY funnel with coolant. Run the engine until bubbles stop coming out of the bleeder screw, then close the bleeder screw. Run the heater full blast, that should burp up any bubbles in the heater core and suck up excess coolant you have left in your funnel. Also squeeze the radiator hose once in a while to release any bubbles in there. Hopefully, that works. |

For those of you who have done the Z32 brake swap with the new e-brake lines. Is it a must to you have some sort of bracket for the e brakes to sit on before connecting to the main line (the T-bar)?

if its engine coolant temp sensors, i don't pay attention to the one on the gauge cluster cause its shit, i have an aftermarket one. Quote:
Should i drain it all and re-do it? I doubt its my tstat or my pump cause it was running perfectly fine last week, but idk. I'm using an electric gauge and it was at 188* before and it hit 230* yesterday while i was on my way home

Does anyone know where Nissan usually pulls it's Tach signal from? Is it the CAS, injectors, MAF (obviously that one is a joke) but I'm just curious..
If it's different on different motors, would anyone happen to know what the KA uses and what the RB uses? |

Also, reposting this question, I'm afraid I'll fuck up my p/s if I don't add ATF. But I don't wanna add more p/s fluid..... Would it be bad if I mixed power steering fluid and Nissan atf?
