I know, I know. It's a drift car and I only use tires I find locally. There are tons of 225/45s everywhere, so that's what I use. I'd rather spend money elsewhere and use free tires.

I'm working on a tire sponsorship right now though, so I'll hopefully be running 225/40s all around or at least in the rear. We'll see.

I had a great Idea, since we all love your car so much, but it's not painted, and we all very well know once its painted it's gonna be king,
post up a paypal account for donations, and if each of the wheel fitment guys donates $5. that should cover a 1day paint job at Maaco or similar place lol..
hell .....ill even throw in $50 if people actually donate and you get it painted asap.
Dark brown, Dark purple..Dark red..any of those royal/dark rich colors would look insane

used to run 215/35's for summer and miss them bad, 225/40 is too much tire

HAHA, I was wondering why he wasn't painting the car, so he's saving up for a 1JZ thats a good plan, I still think getting the car painted first is better, he could prob get sponsors to help with paint after the car looks perfect.

just scored a set of super advans 18x9.5 +22 for my s14 which is slammed on tein hr coil overs and cannot be raised due to locking colars missing... anyways what is a good size tire without having to pull the fenders, I have the rears rolled allready and the harness rubs a bit with the current 350z 17 inch rocking 235 40 r 17

I'm taking the car into PSI next week for the swap. Just gonna run stock turbos, ecu, etc until next year at least. R154, 3" straight pipe to dual 4s and a Bee-R rev limiter.

Been saving up for ages and I can preeeetty much afford it. Super close.

But yeah, I'm getting it painted once the swap's done, I get it back down to Medford, and I come up with $400 to pay my friend to do it. I don't plan on ever painting a car again. haha

I know - Hood/headlights/bumper fitment is off. Soon.
