From someone who has a kaaz and a tomei, tomei locks harder and is a lot louder. The kaaz isn't as aggressive but locks fine as well. I would not consider either one to be substantially different than the other performance wise. Both differentials are pretty good, and are very predictable to drive with.

Good to know ! Which ever I can get a better deal on but I appreciate the comparisons ! Since we?re on the comparison subject, I was going to opt out for a welded for the meanwhile but just didn?t want to go that route. From personal experience how would you compare the drivability and performance?

I for the most part know both pros and cons just never have driven on a welded

welded sucks for daily driving. eats tires. makes the car understeer.
its great if its a track only car, but i still prefer the flexibility of a clutch type LSD over a welded.

welded is great bang for your buck, esp if you're just getting started in drifting.

I was going to opt for a welded since I want to hit atleast one practice day this month , but I have also found good deal on a kaaz from streetercorp recently.

I have a vlsd in right now , think ima go ahead and run that for a bit but do wanna go 2 way. It?s a track/street car but wanna get good parts in it and leave it at that.
