some people are idiots. they would expect that car to cost 5-6 k when wheels aero and paint cost more than that.

They dont know the value. Some neighborhood guys got a look at my zenki said theyd pay 4k for it. I held back so hard, calmly said its worth more.

IDK what it is, but I really really like the way that looks. Even with the stock wheels, Id prefer them slightly more grey/gunmetal.

Thanks! The stock wheels are spaced out 25mm and plastidip'd graphite, then coated in plastidip clear. They look a little darker in person. For the record, I will never use plastidip again, such a gimmick with shitty results.

I bought it in Kirksville, Missouri about 7 years ago. Sold my red Kouki for 5K and bought this for 3K. Ended up spending the difference on fixing this one (plus some), but at least it's a Zenki and NOT UGLY RED-ORANGE.

Guys, I'm not commenting on the value of anybody's car, but the more time you spend in this game the more you realise that you don't make your money back on modifications. No-one with their head screwed on is going to pay more for an average repainted car with fibreglass aero than a clean original car, unless they're new to the game and looking for a quick-and-easy route in to owning a "cool" car. Fitting $3K wheels to your car doesn't mean the car is worth $3K more. Chassis condition, mechanical upkeep and history dictate the baseline value of a vehicle, not how much you paid to get your body kit resprayed.

Naturally there are exceptions to this, but they're few and far between compared to your average 240SX.

GoodShow, you're an old-timer, you know this! Modifying a car is pretty much the worst financial investment you can make, but that's not the reason we do it
