Wow, after reading this thread, seems there no end to this.

From personal experience. I spoke to Eric a few time. I was, at one point in time, a potential invester. After looking into it further, I decided that it's not something that was worthwhile.

The only thing that I wanted to add, that seems VERY fishy at this present time to me is - When I was speaking to Eric in regards to the investment, I was TOLD that there WAS a shop front and I was provided pictures of the shop. I was sent three different pictures, pictures consided of their forklift, a above ground dyno, and a picture of the front of the shop with a couple of done up WRX and an EVO. According to a couple of threads above and also according to a Darkside staff, they DO NOT have a store front, so where did these pictures that claimed to be their shop come from?

For those that may think I am adding oil to the fire, I have ALL EMAIL communication between Eric and I saved, as well as these pictures that he claimed to be his shop and assets.

i dont post on here becuse like i said i get tired of defending myself against peoples shit talking that have nothing to do with it.
AS FAR AS WORKING NIGHT AND DAY TO FIX THIS, what do you think we do? we both have 2 jobs, one to support ourselves and one to support the business,
as far as store front Ian, the pics you had were from the shop we were using, weve since moved out as you can read a few pages back, and as i told you on the phone, "we need a bigger space"
we dont even have a "shop" open anymore, at the moment i dont see pouring money i dont have into a shop being the best idea when we really dont need it now. we thought it would be neccesary when we recieved the motors.
the equipment we had has since been returned or sold.
SKYLINES we are still selling cars but right now there are no skylines in stock.
im not sure who you are that is wanting a skyline but right now is not a good time, we have a few other cars in stock and available that we are trying to get rid of but no skylines.
we will open another store front when we get all this cleared up and we feel that it is needed,
probably around febuary, but there will be NO MORE GROUP BUYS for motors, if its not in stock go somehwere else. its just not worth all this.

I would just like to say that as far as I know, everything Darkstarsucksballs said is correct. Eric Dillon has only failed at business attempts. What's funny is that I don't beleive any of those businesses were even his, but the REAL owners just kind of let him tag along, because they knew he would invest money (provided by grandparents, I was told?) into their shops.
Jordan seems to be the real joke here. This kid hasn't had a real job....ever. He had no business affiliation with Works Yamaguchi, even though he sure loves to act like he does! My friends that frequented the shops regulary told me that he basically sat around, playing video games the whole time. And a drifter? He drove a Grand Am. Never had a car to drift in. Talk about frontin!
Enough of him...back to the point!
"Darkstar Developments" or whatever, is a JOKE! It's sad that you kiddies can't realize this on your own, when you waited what, 9 months for motors/refunds? Did any of you even do any reseach on them? I have an interesting link to post later, something available to the public, that you all should have looked at. There is no shop, never was a shop. They don't work, but rather feed off of other people. Neither Eric or Jordan have held real jobs, unless you consider 'shop owner' a real title. When you don't have a shop. Hmm.

I understand your apprehension. You have to understand mine as well. Being in Indiana, it is more difficult to find a specialty car seller. I especially do not have time to deal with a company if this is actually not legit. That is why I am watching this thread. I really am not interested in 240s so much as I am the company.

Because I have been doing my research, I went and looked up Darkstar for business license in Indiana. There is a Darkstar Development (no 's') out of Rochester, but not Indianapolis. I am trying to buy a car, so i am playing my cards conservatively and just waiting for their shop to open. The more i know, the better off i am in the long run.

LOOK GUYS i just gave my business license on her last page, if you cant find it your not looking in the right place, go to the marion county hall of records and ask them, we recorded the name and all likes of the name to protect it, now i dont really care who you are that thinks they know either jordan or I,
infact i dont really get what your thinking your going to get out of trying to slander us,
the fact is the facts, we have 3-4 people to pay back, this may take all of 2 weeks,

we really dont have the money to open a shop the right way right now, getting these motors rebuilt and group buy paid back is our first concern.
after that things will be back on track and hopefully on its way back to the right track, again i appologise for what happened, and if you guys that were originally on the group buy need a motor down the line we will honor the cost of 1300 as originally the deal.
and i appologise for all the bullshit that this thread is being filled with, the ones that are posting this(i wont say any names) for some reason have had a problem with me personally for years, they have done nothing but talked shit since i opened redline back in 01, if it is who i believe it is they had 2 failed shops themselves, if you want to call them shops it was out of there garage.

Ive been working since i was 14. Ive had Multiple jobs, When i was at Works Yamaguchi i delivered pizza for Dantos on 116th and Michigan. Call them and ask Cynthia Head. Ive owned 4 S13s since i was 14, i drove a GA yes..It was free...Good job on that one. Ive also owned a Kouki S14 when i lived in Utah.

I just don't know what to say...I figured people that would go as far as to get $30,000 worth of shit shipped to them would at least have the sense to check if there were any potential hangups...there are so many illogicalities here on DD's part I don't even know what to say or think. All of the shit they didn't do would be the first things wise people would do when throwing down $30k (or was it $40k? w/e).

I HADNT SEEN THIS TIL NOW,
why use paypal to give refunds well i had money paypal'ed to me that was left to me when my dad died.
so i figured i had already started another paypal accoun and the money was in there what could it hurt.
luckily i had gotten most of the refunds out before it got taken,
hence why theres ony 3 now.
now as far as the 30k well that was my fault, we were already in a hangup becuase we couldnt get any info from the port authority becasue "we were not the shipper"
so when we got the ok i just jumped on it.
we were paying someone else to bring them in, that was our first mistake and it wont happen again.
we have our stuff now, is it in good shape, not really. but if insurance can claim it and we can get reembursed for it we can pay back the loan and call it a day, ony about 15 lost at that point.
and maybe be able to make that up with the stuff inside the container.

like i said this container has been a nightmare, due to lack of planning lack of involvement on our part,this guy made it to easy to trust him to much when he really doesnt care, he made his money and really doesnt care whether or not we make ours. bad planning yes, scamming anyone? no
