I tried to do my best, Adrian, but there still is a little droop in the middle of the lip and I dropped the side a hair but still couldn't get it quite right and it's lowered more like 1 1/4 - 1 1/2" in the front.

That's a good example of how the front should look.. It actually looks like a lip now the rear part will be the same as the front

Damn i really am on the wall with this product i want it now, but i need to buy chargespeed overs which is 600 and 2 seats which is over 1k for my car, then paint the lip and overfenders fuck i need my boss to pay me lol. i hate my car

oh so only the side part will sit lower? i thought the whole lip was gonna hang a bit lower than stock. oh well still looks nice

If you compare the pics you can see that I dropped the side of the lip down about 1/2-3/4" so it will flow with the sideskirt better, you just cant see the sideskirt.....

so are you and gunmetal working together on this? i still think we should have a DEFINITIVE concept to go by. even though you did a nice job with the chop, i don't want to go by your rendition, buying his product. might get ugly down the line with certain expectations.

Adrian and I have been in contact about the photo rendering of this lip and with his description and communication between us this is the result. An actual production peice would be nice to make a definitive choice but from his description of the lip and from having purchased his valances, I personally have no problem giving a deposit on this. I just offered to help him out and there is nothing that I feel that would get "ugly".

Hopefully the lip doesn't hang to low, i will be running mine with stock usdm s14 kouki side skirts like in whitenoise's sig pic.

i dont think anyone will be unsatisfied with the way this will turn out.

gotcha, thats something we should know. i didnt know you guys were in collaboration. seemed like you were just helping him out and taking a shot in the dark with what the final product might look like. i just didnt want to commit to another members rendition because theres always a huge chance that gunmetals will turn out different.

and no one here is questioning gunmetals work, its fantastic work, but when youre altering a familiar design to hang down lower an inch, were talking about aesthetics and it gets subjective. i trust his work 110%, but how about our tastes in lips and how far they should/shouldnt extend? that's why im hesitant to commit without a more accurate concept or rendering.

but anywho, im sure none of this helps. i am definitely interested in a package deal, but not sure what else, short of seeing a prototype, can be done to put me over the top and make the deposit.

yup i just followed the OEM lip lines underneath, so even that way is better than the OEM height already . if u can retain the overall shape and pretty much just extend an inch of material in between, itll look tits . OEM but better kinda way

OK! lets say for some reason i dont like how the final result looks which i doubt would I be able to get a refund or not. Also how much time will it take for the lips to be made after 10 people are in? Also will I be able to get 2 sets of hardware since my oem lip never came with it?

The truth of the matter is if you get 10 people in the group buy I know for a fact you will be able to sell atleast 20 lips if it wasnt for a group buy/wait. So just a heads up make more then just 10 lol

As long as the people that didn't do the group buy pay the same as we do and wait long like we do. I won't be pissed . I just hate some other group buys where people who didn't do the group buy paying the same cheaper price as the people who did . Ok end rant LOL
