Well you don't have to build the block till about 700whp, but you do need rods and pistons to make anything over 400whp safely.

Once people get over 400whp they start having issues, either with the build it's self of just constant BS.
Piston slap, leaking this and that, ideal problems, head lift so forth. Its all well documented.

Not to mention the DE and Rev-Up motors only put 240-246whp to the ground in stock form it's little wonder people are swapping out the minivan motor.

I wish I put my VQ into my 240 an then a LS/JZ into the Z. Oh well.
