my buddy hunter is the one who had that motor. Got it from up near manchester nh right? let me know if you need a hand. i'm from nashua and i've been doing this a long time. just got done doing my rhd and sr shit so i'm always looking for more stuff to do haha. i wish i started on 240's at 15 though. i started with vw's O_o keep it going though homie.

Mehhh fuggit. Still trying to find a Silvia coupe to trade my rhd for. I'm thinkin 2j maybe too. Or finish putting the sr together considering all the parts are here or in the mail hahaha.

Haha do the sr in the rhd and then 2j something when money isn't an issue. That was my downfall. But I am ordering the last parts for my turbo setup them all I need is wiring and it's running!

Well i got the new lines installed..then started the car and oil was literally pouring out from the bottom of car..so i took manifold all back off tightened the leaking fitting (the one on turbo thats in between the block) and tightened everything else and put it all back together...just to start the car and see oil pour out once again..I have no idea why its doing that the fittings are brand new. any input would be greatly appreciated.

Not until you've found no problem at each end. At that point, you can isolate the problem as being between the two components.

That said, I take your point, I've been held up by assuming that new parts must not be the problem, too. Too often, they tend to be. (as does just about anything electric)

Exactly man i checked everything but i was lost. My ignitor chip also sits insidethe firewall area. Who would of ever thought to check any of that..

Whatever, It runs now so its all good. I gotta do some more rust repair this weekend along with cleaning some stuff up, then within the next few months it will be sent for paint.
