I'm thinking about getting some Work Emotion XD9's 17x9.5 +17 in 4x114.3. they're a custom offset so i'm trying to figure out what places take custom orders for Work wheels and among those, who probably has the best deal?

When I close the door of my car, they unlock themselves? I have to push them very gently and cross my fingers. Why are the doors unlocking themselves? It's a 91 FB.

Hi, guys.

So today car didn't smog, the guy told me because of the aftermarket header that I have in my car and he said he needed the carb number from the header, is it true?

I have aftermarket heade, stock downpipe, stock cat and aftermarket catback.

What's the best way to solve this?

Switch back to the stock oem header?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Only certain headers are even C.A.R.B. approved, so yours may not be one of those. If it is, the C.A.R.B. number is usually welded on with the brand name.

Here is an example:

http://i137.photobucket.com/albums/q...s/DSCF3407.jpg

Going to your OEM may or may not help. There are other factors in passing smog.

This site may help you out in passing smog:

I think it's a Mazda thing. I know my girlfriend's NA miata is like that. Same as every other Miata I've ever encountered. It's to keep you from locking yourself out accidentally.

Am I the only one that has an issue with rolling my quarters? The little pinch welds that hold the two pieces of metal together refuse to bend in. At like 2 spots on each quarter. I've tried using a giant hammer and everything and they just refuse to bend in... I've even been trying so hard that one of my quarters seems to be pulled out some, but the lip isn't even rolled in.

It was a Japanese thing back in the 80s/90s. Clarification: you don't hold the handle when you lock it, you hold it up as you close the door.

How far down are you rolling the fender, and one what kind of car?

Ahh, okay. Well my Prelude would only do that if the key was in the ignition, but I know my girl's Civic does the same thing, but she has power locks. I didn't realize it applied to manual locks as well. Plus, it only did it half the time, so I wasn't sure. Thanks for the information guys!

Anyone have any clue as to why my wiper blades won't work on slow with the lights on, only medium and high, but they work on slow with the lights off?

Hi everyone, quick question that i'm hoping someone answers but here goes: Do DC headers remove the Cat from our cars? I have a 95 s14 and I've been debating on wether or not to get headers for my car but I don't want to if it means removing my cat, thanks!

S14. Just an average quarter roll. Trying to bend the lip in to make more clearance for the wheel. Tried using an Eastwood roller and it rolled the rest except the two spots. Tried a hammer for those two spots and nothing helped.

i did all of that, I guess worst case senario is a cracked water jacket. Looks like I'm gonna have to buy a block.

Is there anywhere I can buy the solid diff bushings that go into the back of the subframe, not the actual pumpkin itself? I have an S13 diff in my S14 so I don't need the bushings that go into the pumpkin, but I would like to have it completely solid by replacing the rubber things in the back of the subframe where the cover bolts up to be solid.

I know SPL sells them, but they only have the full kit...

Can you cut the lower threaded part of d2 coils to make them go lower and still able to pre-load so they dont bounce. Or do I need new coils?

Like cut this black threaded body part shorter at bottom

Will parts from the Altima be a direct fit into my KA24DE? Like injectors or fuel rail, for instance?

Is this amount of build up normal?

I wouldn't worry much about that. Just keep an eye on oil consumption if any and keep in the hammer. Remember these are old ass turbos on old as engines...stuf fleaks/pushes past/gets used.

I did my s14 with the eastwood and had no issue at all. You don't need to do the entire arch, just the upper part where it hits.

Preload = bad...release the spring until you can just spin it by hand, then lock that in. If you need to go that low you're simply too low.

Check some of the engine importers in North Jersey, they usually have stuff. JDM Engine depot etc etc. Also check 240sx Motoring out of CT
