Question about Rocket bunny fenders (zenki)

Hey, guys just a quick question for anyone that has purchased the S14 (zenki) fenders. So I recently received the front and rear fenders, they were purchased from TF Works and I was just wondering do they normally have any type of stamping or insignia on the inside? I mean I know TF is pretty reputable but I didn't receive any paperwork with my order and there is no stamping on the inside of the fenders except for a random series of numbers. Also upon test fitting them they don't quite line up right, the tabs on the top of the fender are warped alittle upward and they're some other fitment issues such as when I line the bottom tabs up right the top of the fender doesn't line up right with the pillar. Is this normal with RB fenders? Also the tabs seem almost to small. Idk call me paranoid I just want to make sure I have what I payed for and trust me I payed alot for them lol Thanks in advance.

Even the best FG has issues you have to work with. Also not every car is the same.

I have a set of Dart Izumi front fenders on my car they were $1200 when I bought them back in the day, There were still some tabs that didn't line up perfectly. Fiberglass isn't plug and play.

Thanks for the response. You will have to forgive me this is my first time working with a body kit. I am receiving help from friends that have worked with kits so I was aware that it wouldn't be perfect and that it would need some work and adjustments. I just wanted to confirm that this didn't seem excessive for RB.

I agree with the first responder, even the best fiberglass won't fit 100% and no two cars are the same. It will require some tweeking to get it to fit how you'd like but you'll love the end result.

As far as authenticity try and email or call rocket bunny themselves, write down the numbers you have on the fenders and they should be able to confirm that they are genuine rocket bunny products

I wouldn't be too worried about this though as you said before, you ordered it from a relatively reputable dealer so I don't think they would charge you rocket bunny prices and send you ebay type junk

There's too much risk for them as a company to be doing that.

If you dig a bit deeper on this forum theres a guy who bought "legit aero" from a reputable shop and he was experiencing the same problems as you too. Its a fairly recent thread if I remember right.

Thanks for the advice, that's not a bad idea. I would think that TF wouldn't do something like that but like I said I'm just being paranoid lol
