WOW.

I no longer have to make fun of this kid. He did it himself.

People like you are the reason that other car people now look down on 240 owners.
Like i said before sell your 240 and set yourself on fire. Sell it to someone that knows what they are doing. My bf could always use another chassis to restore.

@driftx - I like the works, they would look sweet on my car! lol

Or just get a kiddy pool and some industrial black dye. Stains will magically disappear, and the carpet is already fitted.

Soft tweed seats and thick carpet. The dohc carpet sucks ass IMO.

lol things that i've used a blowtorch on that I shouldn't have
-to heat the stripping i put around my windshield
-to heat rubber hoses so they will fit over tight AN fittings and then stay on
-to heat paint on a house last summer to get it heated for removal **before you guys freak out YES THE HOUSE WAS WOODEN and no it didn't explode in a ball of flames

the carpet would only explode in flames if i coated it in gasoline, wool is really difficult to light haha

omg please leave my thread, I can't believe you are discussing how cool carpet is

Attention:
When I say that the blowtorch will be used to HEAT, i mean HEAT not burn.
Blowtorches are used for heating very often, its actually their main purpose, starting a fire isn't

Let me google that for you

Wool has a heat of combustion of 4.9 Kcal/g, meaning I have to heat it to almost 600 degrees before it will ignite

i dont want to take sides here..but i agree with this statement.
im tired of hearing people talking sh*t about 240s because of those owners out there that trash their's because they think they're cool.

i love my car..so i don't mind putting money into it for quality parts~

when it comes to the carpet, i would rather spend the extra couple $'s to have it fit as close to perfect and professionally installed.
if you're going to be drifting and crazy sh*t..just strip the car and pull the carpet out..saves weight~

You've obviously never drifted before.. And not everyone on this forum drifts/is a cheap ass like you. If you want old, cheap, used, shitty tires go to the cage behind a tire store and get them for free. If you want tires that will last more than 2 minutes at an event buy cheap new ones that don't chunk when you slide on them like junkyard/cage tires. Then again you proly just slide around on the street for 30 seconds at a time with your flaming carpet and junkyard tires licking the curb with your ebay exhaust around every corner.. So there's no real need for you to buy new tires.

You are too stupid to insult.

If you can't afford to put $150 into your car to freshen it up a bit and make it more presentable then just get rid of it. There are too many people with mindsets like yours that own these cars and it's the reason this scene is fucked beyond repair.
