i have two sets of rims...stocks and some show rims
i'm actually wondering what you guys/girls think i should be using for the track/drags so i'll be more concerned about the rear.  here's the specs:
stocks:  16x8.5
shows:  17x9.5  (blitz type 03's)

rubbers:  the blitz currently has nitto drags(275/45s), but i also have a set of bfg's for street use.  the stocks have pirellis p7000s(245/45's)
* i'm thinking of getting a set of drags (255/45s) for the stocks as well....but i need your input before i do that.

i'm wondering if you can help me figure out what's the best combination:
bigger rims w/ bigger contact patch or smaller rims w/ slightly narrower contact patch.

oh yeah, i'm not too sure on the weight differences either.

If weights are similar, they'll probably perform pretty closely considering the blitz wheels have another inch of contact patch to accompany the extra inch of rotating mass.  However, there's one problem....stock wheels are not 8.5" wide.  They're 6.5" if I'm not mistaken, but no bigger.  Considering this, the blitz will likely be better (if they're fairly light that is).
