i cant remember the offset when i bought these for my r32 gtr, but i brought them back to the states with me i think they are 265/35 18x10+18 or +19. will they fix my coupe? i have 5 lug conversion hubs coming in the mail.

They should fit with roll and slight pull. Maybe a small stretch in the front.

Looking at the rear wheels, I highly doubt those are 18x10 +18s. If they are 10j, I'm thinking in the 30s.

Why dont you put it on and find out? Not exactly rocket science...

But realistically, not with those tires and 10j fronts on an S13 is gonna be a bitch...

Broadfield had a 18x8 +21 and it cleared his front stoptech calipers

I have front Sti brembo calipers. Will 18x10 +20 clear them, is this a good size to run for a S13?

I just bought a set of wheels in (4)17x9 +22 for my stock body s13 coupe with megan coils/ ruca. My front fenders are stock. But in the rear the inner lips were trimmed(removed). It was done professionally. So the cut is perfectly straight/smooth. It was cut precise enough to have been done by a machine or something. But I wouldn't mind a slight pull in the rear but I'm not sure if its possible now that the inner lips were previously trimmed. Ill have the fronts rolled though in the next couple of days. My plan was to run 255/40/17 sq. setup. And I'm not looking to run any ridiculous amounts of negative camber. Nor am I trying to follow that HELLAFLUSH trend. But I do need the car to look good. SO NO MONSTER TRUCKING..lol. So do you think any of this will be a problem?

You're coming from Yokota or Travis? Yah, I definitely know Hoyu...

If its only 9j, should fit the front with minimal work. Rears, you'd need to roll and pull but those tires are still to wide for it.

That cannot be determined by simply looking at the specs you listed. Every wheel is different. If it's a 2-piece or 3-piece then offset does NOT effect caliper clearance... the face of the wheel effects caliper clearance. If it's a 1-piece wheel then the face, which is determined by offset, will determine caliper clearance. We need to know the EXACT wheel and specs that you are going with to determine if they will clear or not. If you are buying a 2-piece or 3-piece, then you simply choose your wheel and offset, then select the face that will clear the brakes. Keep in mind that the offset is just the face moving in or out within the barrel on a multi-piece wheel... which is why the offset has no effect on caliper clearance.

Even going from a 2-piece Meister to a 3-piece Meister of the same exact wheel specs I had to go to a different face on the 3-piece to get them to clear. On my 2-piece Meisters I was able to run an A-Disk up front on the Stoptechs. However, on the 3-piece Meisters, I had to run an R-Disk up front.

I ran 215/40 perfectly on my 9.5. Should be good for you and the stretch will look alot better depending on tire.

What was bad about 215/35? Im planning doing it this summer with my 9.5 since 40's rubbed alot.

i have 225/35/18 on a 18x9.75 and it looks great.

i had a 215/35/18 on a 18x9.5 before and the stretch was too much for me.

so i would personally run 225/35/18. hope this helps.

Quick question. I'm running 18x9.5 +20 with 225/40s (Kumhos). My front is pissing me off. It rubs the living shit out of the fender when I take a corner fast enough or hit a bump mid corner. This only affects the outside wheel. I'm running -3 camber up front.

Question-If I max my camber out do you think it would create more camber at lock, thereby tucking the tire in? O and the lips are rolled flat, no pull. I don't want to run anymore camber because the wheel is already sunk like crazy. I don't get how people run 9.5 +0/5 and dont fuck there fender from driving.

Heres my height:

19's + visually acceptable/drivable on a S-chassis are a no go. A couple of people do it for the rears only and end up hating it. It's a lot of hammering and a hassle to make it look good.

And the specs you put up are just ridiculous to even make an attempt.

18's on a S-Chassis can be a bit of work but it's doable.

Man the specs are that bad?
I got them from a rep at a wheel company. I told him what I wanted and that's what he gave me.
I will stay away from 19" then
Just looking for a nice flush type of fit.i just like the look that the lip of the rim sort of lines up with the body or maybe a little poked out. Any ideas?
Thanks

You mean like this?

The bare minimum to achieve this look is to have wheels with the right offset, tires, & suspension parts to correct alignment which ties into wheel fitment.

19's are humongous and to achieve acceptably low ride height with 19's in hard even with stretched tires. To sum it up, it's a world of hassle when you could be going with 17's or 18's.

As a rule of thumb for myself, I like S14's with 18's with a minimum of 17's and S13's with 17's with the maximum of 18's for the rear. S14's have plenty of room underneath the wheel wells so running sizes like 10 up front or 10.5 in the rear is a doable tasks without having to weld in tubs or bust out the hammer of Zeus to make them fit--granted that the offsets are on point and not poking too far out or rubbing on the strut/coilover housing.

I'm being generous in lecturing you about this. I have gone on rants in this thread when people ask similar questions to the ones asked before--yours being one of them as well. So to be fair to others, do your research. This thread is full of S14 questions and specs and so is this thread: http://zilvia.net/f/chat/129865-whee...s-no-post.html and also, google helps as well. It really helps.

17s for S13, 18s for S14. 19s does not belong on any S-chassis, just too damn big. Staggered 18/19 on S14s is the only exception to the 19s rule.
