Hi All,

We were actually quite pleased that the exhausts made it over in the shape they did, and they stood up quite well to the sea voyage--we're just glad to hand them over to you, they took up a ton of room!

As for Uras markings, there are none on the exhausts, just like in their product photos (website or paper catalog).

BTW, all exhausts should come with a plastic bag filled with gaskets and connecting nuts/bolts. We have ONE extra bag of these, so if you've double-checked your shipment and absolutely do NOT have the bag, let us know--we'll mail your bag to you immediately!

We need your help! To our first Uras RS exhaust buyers who can supply the following sound clips, we'll send you a little JDM somethin'-somethin' (no, not another exhaust!). We need all of the following clips from all possible 240SX/engine combinations (e.g., S13/KA, S13/KA-T, S13/SR, etc.):

- idle
- 5000 RPM
- idle-5000 RPM
- drive by
- all of the above--but with a silencer!

Just unpacked mine, it only took a day to get here from your doorstep.
Box was beat to hell and back (damn dhl)
but the exhaust was flawless.

Gonna put it on tonite. Looking at it in person now, I may need a silencer.

I would do the sound clips for you with my KA on the weekend since im putting it on asap. But it would be with the resonated test pipe.

and how accurate are these arrival dates? do they add a day or two in case of delays?

Hi adoboboy,

I see the same info. The waybills attached to each exhaust seem to be pretty accurate; the closest states to Texas (Oklahoma, for instance), were expected to receive their exhausts by Wednesday, which is exactly what happened. For the east and west coasts, I think most were predicted to arrive this weekend, give or take a day.

anyone put it on a SR yet? I hope it sounds mean. got mine today and like others, I got a few small dings on the piping. oh well. kinda suck that there was a ding on the muffler. the side where it shows the most from the angle

oh well. i have to get use to dings with this hunk of junk

. can't say my hotpipe is flawless either. stupid hood

Edit: Forgot to mention it sounds VERY nice. I love it. Very deep, sounds sorta like the Blitz exhausts you hear on the internet, never heard a Blitz in real life though.

I got my exhaust on Friday(had no dings at all) and threw it on. On a stock KA it is very loud(they way I like it). It has a nice deep tone to it. I have yet to put the sinlencer in to see what it sounds like then. I might get some sound clip of it in the next couple days. But, I'd like to thank Satoshi for having a gb that ran so smoothly overall.

I just got the exhaust in today and I just had to put it on,,in the rain

.. It sounds crazy on a sr,, I had to notch my rear bumper support a little because the muffler was hitting it,,anyone else have to do this?or is it just my car(97 s14)? Thanks Satoshi it was worth the wait!!!!

wow on my KA with the resonated test pipe the exhaust is way louder then my N1 duals. After like 3500 and more then half throttle it is pretty damn loud.

Now i need to look into a KA-T

I'll get the sound clips asap

I think it also made a big difference after 4000 open throttle

Yeah, I tested mine out last night with and w/o the silencer on the KA. The silencer helps quite a bit. I'd say it's worth the few extra bucks. It's not as loud but still pretty deep. I like it better w/o the silencer, but I'm going to run with the silencer when I drive around town. Doesn't draw as much attention. Doesn't seem to have too much of an effect on performance, maybe a little better on my car since I've only got a CAI as of now. It'll be great later when I go turbo.

So far we have SR clips, but without silencer, and so if you have a KA we'd love to get clips of that as well (silenced and non-silenced):
