Right that is nice but not really an issue in the US unlike it is here in Japan, Just kinda extra security on ppl hitting them. I still like them though,

I was kinda hesitant on putting on the Ganadors cuz my stockers have the optional Defogger in them which is nice. But will probably never use it here at least since I wont drive it in then snow.

But they are not much bigger than when the mirror is folded in though.

W8. There is a defogger mirror option? Going to look into this. The more and more I learn about my 32 the more it blows my mind how advance it was for it's time.

Yeah Defogger was an Option. Power Folding is Standard over here, 98% of cars have that.

There's all kinds of option back then. My favorite is my "Cool Box". Its a mini fridge that goes in your glove box.

So I was hopping my Valve guides were still good.....seems like they are not.

All the exhaust were .40-.60mm and the limit is .20mm

Sooo damn it. Now I gott replace those which is gonna run about $400 with installation... So maybe ill do valves too? uhhh was hoping all i needed to do was mill the head and I could slap it on :/

Did pick up some Nismo MAFS for a great price so saved alot of bucks on that.

Been looking into valves but choices are slim since I dont want over sized valves.

Only companies that make STD size are Brian Crower and Super Tech.

I used Brian Crower springs and retainers on my SR, and they worked great but unsure on the vlaves, and there is no info or reviews for the RB26 that I could find.

Ive never use any of Super Tech stuff though.

raw brokerage uses supertech on their built heads. I went with them for my rb25 as well. Shouldn't have a problem really.

How do you like the HKS coilovers on your GTR? I have an R32 landing in a few weeks with some older Cuscos on it, if they are haggard I was looking at changing to those.

I Love them. Probably the best coilover ive ever ridden on.
They are setup and tuned by HKS when they arrive so all you gotta do is bolt them on. No adjustments needed.

They are not too harsh and keep you stuck to the road.

They only make the Hiper MAX IV SP's for GT-R's so if you have a GTSt they wont work due to the rear knuckle uses a Z32 style fork.

Not to mention the spring rates, preload setting and damping will be off if you manage to put them on a GTSt

Nismo MAFS are the size as the stock one and use the same plug, so they area PnP.

Z32's are bigger so I'd have to make some kinda adapters for the turbo intake pipes, wouldn't be able to use my ARC box and i have to splice in plugs to use them.

I paid about $200 for the Nismo's so they were cheaper than buying Z32's and trying to make them fit and buying intakes for them.

you know you order a lot of parts when you forget what you ordered.

Picked up a Booster, BMC, Vacuum chamber for 1,000Y

Obliviously the BMC needs a rebuild but not a problem

grinded the rust off and threw on a coat of high temp paint

Nice build so far man. Nothing like freshening up old parts to clean them up and do a "restore" on an old car. Quality work man. Wish I had the access to parts like you do.

Domo, trying to do the best I can with my current working space.

Glad to hear. Yeah trying to take advantage of being over here while I can since one I leave trying to get aftermarket parts will be 2X as much and 10X harder to obtain.

JUN Valve Guides and Super Tech Valves have been ordered. Hopefully get here in about another week.

Base had a "Car Show" I entered. Very small, few car buds joined as well. Trying to support the local car scene.

I'm still surprised, but I was the only R32/Skyline in the entire show.

I expected maybe 30 stock GT-R's in there.

Some car buddies too so pretty awesome shots of the GT-R.

Then went out with a friend to get some ramen.

He's got a Stagea with a VQ25DET AWD.
