1jz vs vvti
Question is, does the vvti make more torque at half the rpms because of it being single turbo?
and also i've been researching a lot and found that the vvti makes better power down low while the non vvti makes better power in the higher rpms.. can anyone confirm? I'm on the edge, i don't know if i want a vvti or non.. Power goal is 400-500whp car is for driving around town/drifting |

but at 400whp with the vvti model will the power band be different from the non vvti?
lets say both engines have the exact same turbo. |

Yes. Because it is different compression and different cams. Different heads. Depending if you utilize the vvti properly it will spool quicker.

Looks like you're in Oregon, so get it tuned at PSI - Portland Speed Industries and you will be fine. Justin Shreeve's VVTI makes 300whp on AEM with stock everything.
