I used some plastic-ish plugs. The rubber grommets you would find under your carpet or on firewall or something to seal a whole thats not being used so water doesn't get in(sheet metal Plugs). I just found some at the dealership i worked at in a junk drawer full of random parts. You can probably find them at Home Depot or Online somewhere. You dont have to but you can use silicone sealant underneath to make a clean waterproof seal no one will ever see. Just an idea.

i plugged my spoiler holes with honda interior clips, that i got sprayed when i painted my rear bumper, and then siliconed from the inside.

the previous owner of my car had a similar solution as well.

And the greddy lip idk about it...... its just is so big. But it does not look bad in some of the pics.

It's not that big. Here is a better shot of it. It looks big on some of the shots due to the wide-angle lens which tends to distort images.
