rubbing the edge of the fender? that'd fix (help) it.

that +15 is going to sit 8mm closer to the coil, and thus, 8mm more inboard from the edge of the fender. and the smaller tire size will obviously help.

Now, i can assume you are rubbing on both the fender edge and probably fender wells. I was running a 17x9 +35 (20mm spacer so +15 effective). with 3 degrees camber i was poking out quite a bit on the outside, but had ample room between the tire and coil. this was with a 255/40r17 tire.

that being said, 245/35 is not max tire on a 9.5 wheel.
Definitely not max tire and it doesn't look like I'll be able to fit a max tire on it. My 255/35 is actually rubbing the front wheel well. I think a hammer fixed it for now.. Lol!

Wish I could run 265/35 all around.

Anyone have any info or guesses on wheel specs? I’ve got some 17x9 +22 wheels and I’m hoping for similar results. 255/40?

Thanks guys

Comparison of two different sizes of the same tire.
Federal RS-RR

265/35r18 vs 275/35r18

most notable difference is tire height.

these tires are fitted on an enkei RS05RR 18x9.5 +22 wheel

265

275

265

275

265 mounted on front wheels, 275 mounted on back wheels.

EDIT: Front camber about -2.5+ degrees and rear is at 1.6-1.8.
Also noted is that these federals and also the RS-PRO run wide. These tires in a 275/35r18 measure about 11 inches, almost a 285/295. I am 100 percent certain if i fit 255/35r18 on the front and rear then I would be able to fit these with minimal pulling, but that's not max tire, is it?

Hey guys,

Will I have any issues running 17x9 +17 245/40 in the rear of my s13 with stock metal?

Thanks.

should need some slight work. i had 255 on 17x10 +12 5zigen, and i had 2-2.5 inches of poke on stock fenders.

Im bringing this thread back from the dead cause it's just as helpful as ever
volk gt-c face2 18x10 +37. 285/35-18
stock camber, no pull, no roll.... yet

lm-gt3 18x10.5 +38 will be getting a 295
hopefully 1-2* of camber only requires a roll and minor pull

Hey, a man doing it right in here. Not maximum rubber for your camber gang setup! You have the meats…

I finally went full retard with mine. The 295/30/18 R888R run a lot wider than the previous tires in the same size. wheel size is 18x11 +30

They are pulled maybe 3/4", it's not too drastic. It does poke but with the ride height higher it really doesn't scrub.

Certainly a double entendre. I had a cop pull up next to me at a light and rolled down his window and asked about it... he was dying laughing said there's no way the DMV let you have this.

I'll be completely honest, I know what the plate actually means. However my girl walked by my computer at the right moment and pointed it out.

After almost spitting out my whiskey I explained to her what it meant. Then followed by her response "yeah well I hope for his wife's sake he eats a lot of pineapple!"

Worked well for his endurance racing purposes. I'm assuming since he recently parted the car out and was selling lots of damaged body parts that it got crashed.

Ok sorry to resurrect an OLD post, but anyone have info on the rear overfender size or make? Thanks!

chargespeed rear overs afaik only come in 50mm chief. I have them on my car.

Biggest tire I was able to fit on my front end was a 265/35/18 however it hit the firewall tub at full lock and started to damage the tires as well as rip my front bumper off. So I downsized to 245/35/18

I see, I see. Currently running 275/35/18 all around on 18x10.5 +15. It?s tight but my car is also not slammed. I saw Sasha?s car and his wheels set up is the same as mine.

I like the look of yours!
