s13 A-pillar interior trim won't clip into place

I removed the entire power seat belt system but I'm still using the US-spec trim.

The shiny brackets that the clips fit into are straight. The clips themselves are all there except for one down near the dash that snapped off.

I'm not sure what type of plastic the pillar trims are made of, will it soften and stretch with a heat gun?

Solved it... mostly.

The trick was to have about four hands

One to stick a screwdriver behind the trim and pry the brackets towards the trim (so they don't bend towards the body while pressing on the clips)

One to push the dome light wire harness up a little so it didn't get pinched between the headliner and the body by the trim

One to push the weight of the headliner up

And one to push the trim.

Ugh I need some non-US trim and headliner.
