melo 0-7 fg % tonight. i didn't watch the game, but adding up the box score, it was 73-57 knicks after 3 quarters.

probably good that the game was decided, if it was a closer game and Melo went 3-21 the knicks probably would have lost. lol.

4 – package up whatever combination of expiring contracts, draft picks, that attractive $14million trade exception and young(ish) talent you can afford to unass and go after Deron Williams instead. The only “safe” people on the team should be Kobe and Bynum.

Novak was pretty awesome when we blew out the Bobcats. 9 pts in 6 minutes or something. If we play Lin and Novak at the same time, Lin and drive to the basket, kick out to Novak for the easy 3 like they did during the game.

I mean...they did sign Novak to be a 3 pt specialist right?? Why aren't they playing him more often then?

I'm actually looking forward to the Knicks/Heat game with the Knicks crappy "big 3". Since the last Knicks' "Big 3" with Billups barely got the W, let's see how Chandler is.

He didn't really do much scoring wise in this game, but he helped out a lot. That was also a really great game. I wouldn't doubt that the Clippers are going to go further than the Lakers this year.

I dunno about that. The clippers are good, dont get me wrong, but they have absolutely NO bench. There's a HUGE drop off when their marquee players aren't on the floor.

The Lakers have an obvious need at the pg position and for another perimeter scorer to legitimately back up kobe, but they have pretty decent depth elsewhere. I think there biggest issue is learning their new system and everyone's role in it. Will they contend for a title? I HIGHLY doubt it, but i think they're a better TEAM than the clippers for sure.

I am not suprised at all by this, I am 100% sure that this sore knee crap that has had him out for weeks and stands to have him out for more weeks is more him opting not to play for the Hornets. Normally I'm against players pulling a stunt like this but after the unfair bullshit Stern pulled I'm glad. I wouldn't be suprised if hw ends up playing along side Kobe next season.




On another note, the Heat yet again played down to their opponent. This should have been a blowout but they didn't defend the 3 and let NY stay in it. Gotta love the Heat fans at the AAA chanting "NEW YORK SUCKS". Fun game to watch overall, much better ending then just killing them outright but the Heat better be ready for Sunday because they are going to play the Reg-season champ Bulls...

I complete agree with Howard for ripping into them. As the leader and face of the franchise (for now anyway) it should be him to say it.

I ALSO think Bruce Bowen is a total bitch for saying how Dwight calling out his team like that was the wrong thing to do. Bull shit it was. They've given ZERO effort and the only person who would be given a pass for not playing hard IS actually playing hard. They're grown men and they're playing like shit and someone needed to step up and say something. Who better than the best person on the team. No need to sugarcoat it for them, Bowen. GTFOutta here with that nonsense.

You also need to look at it from the standpoint of Dwight's teammates. The general mood amongst them is that Dwight is likely to be leaving, so maybe thats why they dont play with as much enthusiasm for their "leader".

i would agree but also disagree. although, pointing fingers is a coward way but, then this is a team sport. so , yeah tell em how it is and make some changes.
