Gt2871r turbo questions

I believe it's a Gt2871r I am getting. It's Gt28 something r but anyway I have a red top sr20det in my s13. My t25 took a dump on me so I figure I might as well upgrade. The guy im buying this turbo from said the stock Sr20 fuel system can handle 16 psi without a tune. Is there anyone to verify this? I would assume it would probably be more like half that to run relatively safe. At the moment I do have a 3 inch turbo back exhaust front mount intercooler and a walboro 255 fuel pump. My injectors are unknown so I'm going to say it's stock. I won't really have a lot of time to test with the turbo coming in Friday and I will be getting it on Saturday with a race I'm hoping to go to Sunday.

you'll need upgraded injectors to run 16lbs.

550's minimum.

That's what I kind of figured. What would be a safe boost level while assuming I have stock injectors and no tune? This turbo comes with 13.5 psi on it from what I was told but it can be adjusted down. So is it safe to take it out for a quick run see what happens and make my adjustments or is over boosting something that could just basically rip my engine apart within a few seconds?
