Exhaust manifold bracket needed?

Just bought a stainless low mount exhaust manifold and I installed it then someone told me that I need the bracket (pictured below).

I bought the manifold brand new but it didnt come with it.

Is it anything to be worried about?

Cheap shitty manifolds like that have a great tendency to crack.. hence whey they apparently come with brackets now..

MANY different manifolds, both cheap, expensive, whatever, have this bracket. Its nothing new, I've had the same stainless manifold since 2005 and it came with that bracket. It's not a function of the quality of the manifold, it's part of building a quality product that will last a decade or more. It's like saying "oh I want a house, but I don't want it to have any structural support, that's only for cheap houses".

OP, I would contact the manufacturer of the manifold and ask if they can sell you one, eventually, the weight of the turbo MAY cause enough stress on the manifold to crack (usually right at the welds).

it helps alot to support the ram horn manifold front the weight of the turbo and down pipe. it'll keep it rigid and prevent cracking, not everytime but will def help your manifold last longer.
