You don't pay attention to what you read... When i was talking about the family deciding to crush the car i wasn't talking about my family... I said it seems like the guys family are the main ones from my prospective that decided the car should be crushed... I personally want my car to go t a family member .. that doesnt mean they are waiting for me to die. No one in my family ever plans on a day i die for my belongings.

I was going by the first post. I didn't read anyone else's comments in any of the pages. All i saw was about him being funny, what her liked, and that he didnt want anyone else driving the car. Either way i respect his decision, i was only saying what i personally would have done.

just cause the car was crushed doesn't mean that the guy was disrespected or anything, as quotes say, and I'm pretty sure some people in the previous comments said that it was what he wanted, he didn't want any other kid fucking with it. "Profiting" of it doesn't do any justice either, some kid will buy it and prob wreck it, thats more disrespect then crushing it so no one can drive it, if they preserve it, its just going to end up being crushed because they didn't want it to be junked either. Dead peoples items take space. Eventually, but not intentionally get thrown away.

RIP to Tim, I never had a chance to know him but it seems he lived a pretty crazy life with some good friends. If those were his last wishes so be it. As for the people getting bent out of shape about a car, get over it! It's a car. You don't know how you would react if your friend was to ask this of you. Video gave me chills when I first hit play. I had a very good friend of mine die in an S13 some years ago. She always joked that she wanted to be buried in her car, in a sense she was.

What it comes down to is what the owner would have wanted. Still sad to see a clean s chassis smashed, but much more saddening is the lose of a friend.

My car is TOD to my best (and less fortunate)friend.

If he is not around I want it pushed out to sea and set a blaze via flaming arrow. Viking style baby...

It's comments like that that restore my faith in these forums. I'm glad I've got a good core group of car guys that I can rely on in any facet of life; from cars and chicks, to family and support. I obviously don't know Tim or you Taylor, but I saw how Vassalo and Olsen responded via facebook about the ordeal, and it really made me happy to see a bunch of good guys come together to carry out their friends wishes/legacy.

I know my buddys are the same way... I could only HOPE my 240 is either crushed or owned by my brothers if I were to pass...I couldnt' stand to let someone else own it...and my good friends (with their equal hours involved in my car) would understand, and not want it either.

I say bravo to these guys, and for the crybags on here to take a step back and re evaluate life. Life is about friends, family, and good times - sure cars can be part of it, but they are not a core aspect. Some of the comments made here really solidfied my opinion that forums anymore are about 90% bullshit, and 10% content...
