Battery tray/cable ideas

My batteries look has been bothering the hell out of me.
As of now I'm thinking about mocking up a snug tray and possibly box, also I'm looking around at different cable ideas. Something to freshen up the bay a bit.
What are some things you guys have done? (other than relocation)

You could just relocate it to the back and not worry about its looks if it really bothered you that much.

Yea I've got a KA-de.

I'm not really interested in relocating just thinking of various ways to change up the battery region.

I've got my eyes in a lot of the picture threads, but I also wanted some feedback not simply looking at pictures.

Does anyone know of any not so plain looking cables and connections? I've seen some good stuff out there, Broadfield had a pretty interesting cable connection.

why dont you want to put it in the back? theres plenty of room and it helps get some weight off the front of the car. win win. also just a theory of mine but i think batteries last longer in the trunk because of cooler temps.

@soreballz - right back at you!

panda - I honestly feel like a smaller battery up front is just more accessible. It's more of my preference than any sort of functional aspect. But so far what I've got in mind is a fabbed up half box and a custom strap over the top, with some clean cables. Apparently I'm the only one who obsesses over their battery region.
