Feels extremely sturdy, but I don't really know. It was actually free, its a one off my friend designed for me as part of a project for his engineering class. The outside casing is identical to the factory piece, and it fit into the factory hvac ducting. The pod itself has a duct that fits inside it to channel the air through the venter in the center, and the guages are facing me at a 10 degree angle.

Looks great. Just make sure you cover/ coat it as it will become brittle quickly (especially in a hot car). The 3d printer cures the material with a UV lamp every pass. Excessive exposure to UV light will make it extremely brittle. We have one of these machines at work. and ive done some little things for my car. ive made a turbo timer enclosure which will be mounted under the steering wheel (above where your knee would be) I plan on molding it together with epoxy resin and bondo glass. I tried making it out of a map light enclosure but then we got the printer at work.

i had a controller there two years ago, got into a collision, knee moved forward broke the shit out of it. doesn't work anymore. i'd look into moving it to a better area if you plan on doing anything with your car

Not gonna lie, I have been looking at 3d printers online. saw a couple of already assembled printers for 2500.00 . I might purchase this, not only to possibly do some pods, but to create other hand dandy things for everyday, household, mechanical, and off projects.

A little testing to decide on a base color for the woodgrain.
Did this one for amusement, doubt i'll do a set in blue, but its possible as a spare 2nd set. |

BoostinIX is so dreamy! I need to get my eyes checked because they have deceived me from my first original impression of Casey.

Lol, don't be hating your girlfriends aren't into cars/don't want to work on them
And I'm sorry, I couldn't hear you Ramones over the INS sirens coming from your place. I'd say go smoke some tires...but we all know it's your engine.

You have out done the illegal jokes for a while now. You pay these girls to play the role of your girlfriend the day of these meets. The vibrations from the lack of sound deadening pleasure her more than you do.
