Merc with Battles
(not an S or Z chassis, plz don't kill me...) Here's my Mercury Grand Marquis on MB Battles. I've gone through two different sets to try and figure out proper fitment...the fitment game is a lot harder when bagged vs. when static...
Anyway, here's the first time I threw them on without lowering the car. These were 18x9.5 +15. I went for the most aggressive from the start, thinking "eh they'll fit once it's bagged. LOL. Tires were 225/45/18 front and 235/45/18: Then I threw on 235/45s up front, chopped the springs, and got to here: Then I bagged it; a while ago in this thread KAT-PWR posted this picture the day I got my front bags installed: Then I got tired of the rubbing and wanted MOAR LOW, so changed all my tires to 235/40 front and 245/40 rear: Visually better, but still rubbed, and I couldn't air out the rear completely because the fender sat on top of the tire. Also ride quality sucked because my air setup wasn't quite designed to ride this low, and at my actual ride height it looked so goofy because there was too much wheel gap and too little camber for the amount of poke. So I compromised, and bought a differently-sized set of Battles, and figured I'd step up the tire size to reduce wheel gap when aired up. Here's the current setup: 18x9 +38 235/45 front 245/45 rear If I were on coilovers, I would've just stuck with 225/45/18x9.5+15 all around but at least it doesn't look goofy when cruising down the highway aired up anymore. Thanks for reading! |

Just picked up a set of 17in bronze battles for my s13. Sorry for the terrible quality, I'll upload better pictures once I get some tires on them and mount them on the car.

So what's the difference visually between chrome'd and polished? Is one easier to keep clean? I've never had chrome wheels but my volks have polished lips and I can't even clean them without scratching the polish it seems.

17x9.5 +15, I also have a pair for the front of my S13 in like root beer or some shit. I like buying oddly colored battles. Don't know why. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
