NEW Topmount Manifold from Full-Race!!! MVP Motorsports

Full-Race just contacted me to give me the inside scoop on their new top mount internally gated T2 manifold. I know most are thinking the same thing I was asking yourself "why". But he brought up a good point in regards to using it with the GT2871R or other larger T2 flanged turbos. The Full-Race flows more than the stock manifold and being a true twin scroll I could for sure see their logic for wanting to produce it. Let me know what you guys think and if you are interested we currently have ONE ready to ship. If the interest is there maybe we can start stocking it.

$1050 SHIPPED anywhere in the 48 states will be cost of this manifold!!

Also remember guys, MVP is your Full-Race warehouse for anything SR20 or KA24!!!

Regards,
Robert

This probably will have good response in terms of driving BUT... why internally gated... That just sorta defeats the purpose....

They should just integrate an external wastegate flange, unless they have one for the T2 already...

i think this is a little much for a t2 with internal wastegate.. i would buy this if it was external wastegate not internal....

still a good idea for the gt28 guys but not a fan of the price tho

i would like to see some dyno sheets with this manifold over stock if i'm gonna be dropping a g just to go top mount with my 2871r. (i'm actually happy about this manifold but for the price i would like to see the improvements over stock seeing this is kinda like a proto type?)

I'd also like to see this manifold versus something like the Tomei expreme. I can't really see how twin scroll makes a difference on such a small flange like the T2, or at least, a difference worth $500+

A/C compatible?

This is my only beef with FullRace... until then PowerLab gets my paper!

A Top Mount Internal Gated Twin Scroll T2 Manifold... I don't see this going so well... The GT2871 isn't Twin Scroll.

just an idea*
someone could cut the flange and weld what ever you want to it. those of you using the holset turbos with twin scroll hot side and internal gate could find this usefull?

I would like to see what difference it makes compared to stock and average aftermarket bottom mount manifold, ie. spool and power.

I think they scrapped the idea. Haven't heard any new news in regards to it.

Most manufactures, such as Full-Race, will email me information on products they are considering bringing to the table. I post up and based on your reactions they make the final decision.

Regards,
Robert
