What is the difference between the V-1's, and the V-2's?
Does the KA24DE manifold have a flange on the bottom of the manifold, and at the turbo outlet for a turbo mounting bracket like the SR20DET manifold does?
Status on re-stocking?

Thanks,
Dave

The V2 has slightly thicker wall tubing and has the brushed finish. Both are very nice and we havent had any issues with the V1's or 2's. we have a few V1;s on the shelf if anyone wants a deal on one, just shoot me an email.

thanks
Ken

Ken,

The rest of the question?

Does the KA24DE manifold have a flange on the bottom of the manifold, and at the turbo outlet for a turbo mounting bracket like the SR20DET manifold does?

Thanks,
Dave

Dave,

It is a bottom mount manifold setup just like an SR. you would be able to use an SR turbo SR o2 housing and downpipe, etc. Let me know if that helps.

thanks
Ken

it needs to be asked,

does this require the downpipe to be extended the extra 2-3" like all of the other brands? or can you take a greddy down pipe, and turbo elbow (or isis) and just bolt straight up to the cat, with no cutting and welding needed?

#1 problem with all bottom mount t25 manifolds.

Yes, this is the common problem with all KAT setups. we usually just massage the floor board with a hammer to clearance the downpipe. Or you can purcahse the Xcessive KA lowering mounts to help with clearance.

I havent ever done any cuting or welding. Just massaging )

Thanks
Ken

Massaging is always fun! but you would have to massage the crap out of the floor board in order to fit a downpipe without rubbing

If you are teamed up with isis, maybe isis needs to make a extended downpipe to clear those setups.. it cant be that much harder to extend the jig 2", and you would immediately control the market in "true bolt on t25 setups" If i had the connection, i would make it happen

none the less, i do love the isis v2 manifold.. it looks sick!

Yea, we have talked with them about it. They are considering doing it, but the problem is for cost to be down they have to build like a billion of something and i dont know if we would be able to move a billion of them )

Need a favor. Need someone to end this debate as this kid swears that what he sold me still is this same kind of manifold. LOL I've used this manifold so many time and know what its quality is. Thanks in advance!
