Serious arcing from battery and/or alternator

I cannot for the life of me figure out why I am getting shocked so much. The wiring in the silvia is strange but not

My current issue is that when I connect my battery or alternator (the one I connect last shocks), I will get shocked if I'm not careful or fast because of the arcing. I have replaced the battery, alternator, terminals, and verified all the fuses are working and cleaned up the wire connections between them (which was difficult because the battery won't connect without abusing me)

What exactly am I missing? all the connections seem clean and exactly how it was before it broke down (i left the lights on and when i jumped the car I may have done it backwards which would be very embarrassing considering how much I've done it in the past) Any point in the direction for me to look would be amazing thank you.
