Kinda sucks that a few of the "older" guys are getting out of the game... it makes room for new "idiots" to jump in...

I'm getting out to support my home, and my life...

^that's a little more important than some 15-20 year old car, and the whole "I'm going to skip this or that bill, so I can get this or that part."

Eliminate the distractions, build life, come back later. nahmeen?

You zenki bros want a inside tip on keeping your lights not so hazy yellow?

brake fluid. Yes, I said it, BRAKE FLUID...

Use an old rag, pour some on, wipe liberally on lense (careful not to get on paint). Let it sit for a minute or two, then resoak rag with more brake fluid. Now just use the rag to scrub away the yellow, then used a dry rag to wipe away the leftover brake fluid. Take some windex, or cleaner, and clean off the excess, wipe clean, and enjoy your newfound vision/clarity.

Trust me, you will be amazed.

It seemed to me 94,95,96 zenkis have different types of plastic, I usually do the brake fluid after a round of wet sanding to really do some work. Be careful you can really damage with brakefluid tho, plastic will be unrepairable and ur paint will be eroded away if you do a half ass job.

It's an option

Beats buying a 3M kit every couple months....

There's only so much sanding you can do before you're through the lense, and once sanded, it turns back yellow in weeks...

they key is making sure you get it all off.

Aren't the clear covers plastic? Wouldn't those yellow after a while as well or are they something much better?

Just wipe with brake fluid? No sanding? Sounds scary but definetly worth a try. Nothing else has worked so far haha

slather it on, let it sit for a minute, then resoak the rag, scrub for a minute or two, and clean off. It's really not that bad, and even IF you get some on your paint, you can just wipe it away. Not like it's air craft stripper or anything.

depends on how tired the lense is, but it will remove all yellow, maybe not the fogging, if they're that bad, but def takes out all the yellow.

Do just one side, and compare it to the other....

They make a UV clear to go on the plastic after you polish them. They don't tell you that part to sell more kits.

QFT, I used to restore about 10 sets of headlights a week, sometimes repeat customers, once we got the UV spray they quit coming back. feelsbadman
