Carpet came from stock interiors yesterday, so I did the install last night.

When finished, it's fantastic, but, so much work involved, my god.

In the next few weeks I'll be stripping the sound deadening, finishing gutting the doors, test fitting the touch screen display going in the A/C/Radio area, trimming unnecessary brackets from the dash support and chassis, and finishing up the motor mounts. Glad I'm finally getting to work. Also working on a fully custom digital cluster so lots to do in the coming weeks and months.

And the false glove box that will house fuses, relays, and various modules. Still working out a mounting solution.

This one is perforated "suede". For $60 I'm pretty happy with how it looks/fits

I second the P2M mats. I just bought some and they are really nice for the price. GUD DEAL

question: Will a nardi classic be in the same position as the OEM wheel with the non-slim HKB boss hub? I don't want it to be in my face.

Looks fine to me, I shot my carpet with just enough to coat it. Too much will make it look caked on. $5 carpet and 1 can of SEM and now my carpet is black... can't complain.

when you mounted the gauges did you drill into the dash mat or did you just cut into it and allowed the gauge pods to come from under the mat?

I just cut T slits in the dash mat so the mounting brackets for the pods popped up then screwed the pods back in

Any one ever bothered with the Defi smart kit displayed onto a tablet? The thought of not having loads of gauges is pretty appealing.

Being toying with the idea for a while and discovered that a Galaxy Note fits pretty much perfectly in my TV/sat nav surround (No use in the U.K anyway). Need to figure out a way to get it turn off and on without having to pull the lot out each time.

In an ideal World I'd love to use the 'TV' button to power on/off but I'm too dumb to make that happen.

Ignore the head unit etc, it's all in limbo whilst I figure out what to do.
