It would be harder on an S13. S13 rear fenders like to buckle when you pull them too much.

Okay guys, I have a stock s13 I don't mind having to roll fenders or anything, but I really just want a nice mild ride height but if I need to go lower I will and can. But I found a set of 17x9 Varstoen wheels with a +22 offset what do you think about these wheels? What is it going to look like? What kind of tire size am I going to be looking at? Any input will be greatly appreciated as I am having troubles with figuring out just where I need to be for a nice flush fit.

Please read through this thread, please search through rimtuck, please use the search function for this forum.

17x9 is a common size for the S-Chassis and I'm sure you'll find a ton of answers there.

The possibilities are endless with that size and offset. You can run a bit of meat but you could also get real low and real skinny tires. It's a versatile size.

This thread is about Wheel Fitment Questions, not "feed me info/specs" questions. Learn more about what goes into wheel fitment and then come back with a question regarding the specs you found and the type of alignment you want and tire sizes you want.

I tried to search and I can't find anyone with a +47 off set wheel. I bought a set of 17x8F +47..17x9R +47. Work Rezax Ver 1

Rubber is 225f 255r

Going onto a 180 with stock fenders.

Haven't had the chance to put them on because doing my 5 lug conv. in a few months when the snow melts....

So I imagine +47 will need spacers so I don't hit coilovers (Cusco Zero2) but then I will be in the fender...

My question is, do you guys think I can just get away with spacers and roll+pull?

Pic request for any 180 that has a +47 work wheel on it...

Buying a set of 18x10 +18 for all cornors of my zenki.

Now I've read up and the back should be ok with a 8mm spacer. But the fronts would need a 10mm spacer. Also gonna run 225/40/18 on all 4.

So is the 10mm good? I've read that a 8mm barley clears, why ima grab a 10.

Flip I know you know this!!

^^ Rear will be easy with a roll, & 2ish degrees camber. Can do less camber if you pull the fenders a tad bit. A 225/40 is perfect tire size. The front will be a pain being a x10 with a +8 offset, but doable. Just crank the camber. It all depends on how low you go as well.

Edit: Wait wait, guessing you have an s13. I had a 18x10 +12 with a 225/40 and it was an easy fit in the rear. I was looow so I had a small pull an -4 degrees of camber.
The front will for sure be a pain on an s13, but again doable, take your time, roll , big pull, and A Lot of camber if your planning on being low. The higher the easier obviously.

Don't use S15s as reference for S14 fitments since S15s have narrower body lines than S14s. S15 fitments are more like S13s.

As far as fitting that much rubber on 9.5js. I think those are going to be over kill, specially those 315s are 11j-12j width territory.

You wont, those wheels are too high of an offset. You'd need ATLEAST 25mm spacers to make them look decent without having to do much with the fenders (roll is always a good idea).

All depends on the coilovers/suspension. 18x10 +18 were perfect for my S14 fronts on Topline Aragostas, didn't need any spacers. PM me if you got any other question...

Thank you very much for the help! I just want to clarify, are you saying with a 25-30mm spacer I could clear coils and stay within the fender or be able to roll if necessary?

Or "you won't" as in, you won't be able to make them fit on OEM fenders?

Side note... you sold a turbo set up a few years ago Gt3071r, HKS EX MANI, HKS actuator... to a guy in Winnipeg, Canada. I'm thinking about buying that set up from him. Any comments? I don't mean to be off topic so pm me if it doesn't belong in thread. Thank you once again for your valued advice.

You wanna get the offset down to atleast the mid 20s to make it look decent. Bigger the spacers, the smaller that +47 offset will get. If you get a 1" spacer that equates to about 25mm spacer.

As far as the turbo, sold it to him since it didnt work out for. My EGT was too damn high for some reason and ended up bumping to a GT3582R pushing 500whp.

What kind of spacers would i need for a set of konig Lace Wheels to fit on a Kouki S14. They are 17x8 35 offset. My car isnt slammed. I want the wheels to fit nicely without too much modification to the fenders.

10mm slip on's with extended lugs but 15-20mm would look just right but they are usually bolt on. Seen some unfortunate incidents with people I know with bolt on spacers even when the spacers were hubcentric.

The less flush your wheels are with your fenders, the more room for alignment adjustment and tires.

You shouldn't need spacers to fit those wheels on. It won't be flush, but should mount just fine.

Can someone suggest specs for the wheels, for example should I run 17x9's in the front and then something bigger in the rear or what? Im a noob when it comes to wheel fitment, so any help would be great!

It want let me search but does anyone know what the backspacing would be on 15x10 and 17x4.5 racestars? Also will have to roll fenders or can I get by without them rolled? Pics would be great even if it isn't racestars maybe welds or some sort. Also this is going on a s14. Thanks

You can make anything fit with fender re-modification. But I doubt you'll be able to fit them even with a huge pull, stretched tires and max camber. Go wide body 50mm and you'll be fine.

Ok, I'm starting to lose my mind with all the numbers in my head. I'm hoping some staggered setup OGs could chime in and help me choose a wheel setup.

Current setup on my S14 Zenki:

-stock fenders
-stock A-arms with ES bushings
-stock camber bolts
-K-Sport coil overs (not sure which model, but they look like their basic coilover)
-300ZX calipers in the front, stock caliper in the rear

What I'm trying to achieve:

A staggered setup with a 17x[9-9.5] in the front and 18x[10-10.5] in the rear...not sure which offset to choose though.

I'm trying to keep the rolling/pulling to a minimum, hence why I'm really scratchin' my head here. I'm not a fan of stretched tires either, so that's out of the question - please help a fellow Zenki owner out!

Also, where do you guys buy your wheels?

First off, figure out how much poke you want, that will dictate pretty much everything from offset to tire width to how much roll/pull you'd need or how much camber or even how low you can go. Since you said you don't want the stretched look, go look thru this thread and see if you find anything you like. If you do, just see what their specs are if its not listed already...PMing the person who posted it up never hurts...
