Bumping it back alive, have an update. I still run the suprastore 2jz adapter on a later model internal slave CD/JK40C trans in my S13, 98 q45 diff with j30 axles. I've launched the car (no prep) off 20psi anti-lag on 275/40/17 drag radials with no problems, it takes it like a champ. The only issue I still have is the transmission is hard to get into gear at a stop. I'm using a quartermaster internal slave and the factory s13 master cylinder with a spec stage3+ clutch. The car also tends to creep forward when you are in 1st and let off the brake. The clutch (pedal travel) engages about 2in from the top (3/4 way up) and feels normal. I did have a pilot bushing get eaten alive last season and I'm wondering if it happened again even tho I installed a new adapter and bushing last season. It seemed to be causing the input shaft to hang up. Or is my master cylinder or slave not traveling far enough? Maybe shit mating angle even tho I run the bell housing Dow pins somehow? I really don't enjoy pulling the trans out every 1k miles to repair/try to figure out this issue lol.
