i went out and snapped a few new pics today. took the OEM skirts off and replaced em with OEM mudguards (took FOREVER to find the front set). got 4 brand new PoweredByMax 15mm spacers for Xmas along with some PBM valve stem caps too. also washed the car yesterday as well (it had been about a month *barf*)

[QUOTE=dorkidori_s13;5066677] i went out and snapped a few new pics today. took the OEM skirts off and replaced em with OEM mudguards (took FOREVER to find the front set). got 4 brand new PoweredByMax 15mm spacers for Xmas along with some PBM valve stem caps too. also washed the car yesterday as well (it had been about a month *barf*)
Dorkidori can you please post some more detailed pics of how your wheels look with those 15mm spacers? they look pretty good . I'm thinking of doing the same with my Teardrops it looks pretty bad the way the wheels sit and im wondering if the 15mm spacers would make the difference. Here's a pic to somewhat show how it looks without spacers. Oh yeah and here's another pic of my old chuki. |

Quote:
the 15mm just push the wheels out a bit, nothing huge, but looks MUCH better in filling up the fenders. its not superJDMtyte hellaflush, but theres no need to roll your fenders or anything. i would recommed you lower your car quite a bit before doing it as you wont really see the difference with your ride height (not hating on your car, just saying needs moar lower to notice spacers) |

Thanks man, your car is definitely what sold me on the lip! Plus it was the only upside of my car getting hit haha.
Now I just need to even my driver side coils with my passenger side and drop the rear a touch to get the rim even with the fender, space the fronts, and we are good to go! I wish I could find type x skirts to mock up, I wanna see how they'd look. Last edited by Sean P.; 01-01-2013 at 06:21 PM.. |
