You're thinking of taking the whole guts out of the thermo. All I did was take out the jiggle on top. Its supposed to help bleed air sitting behind the thermostat. I've gone to a point before to drill out a couple more holes around the housing. Helps let more coolant go around the T-stat.

Isnt it kinda awkward reaching across and away from you?

I just drilled a hole in the thermostat at about the 3 o clock position instead of cutting the jiggle valve. Didn't have any problems getting the air pocket by the thermostat.

I guess cutting the jiggle valve would work just the same.

Its not as bad as it looks. Its super easy to pull. For me it feels like its really close to the steering wheel. If it was on the other side I think it would be way too close to my wheel and would be akward to pull. I put it there because I drove another s14 that had it in the same location and I loved it.

Ah okay. They look like the Halo series. I had some EVO gauges but I recently sold them and picked up one Halo gauge for now. I'll be getting more though. I think they're pretty sweet!!

Looks good man. Did you put holes in your dash to run the wires for the gauges? I'm assuming you did!!

What's the thing above your radio? Some sort of switch panel?

Im confused a little bit about your fitment then....

With the XD's you are about 18x10 effective +4ish.....

BUT, this guy has the same fenders... and is 18x11.5 +5... is his really poking more? Looks very similar to your fitment.

Reason i ask all of this is because I am running 18x11.5 +4 (like the dude in the thread below) and i want to ru nthe type 2 overfenders... looks like he pulled it off, no?

the overfenders can stick out further depending on how you mount them. we unfortunately did my driver-side first. the passenger side really can't be bowed that much when mounting it up, because it has to line up to the gas door, but even still you can bow out both sides a little bit, making the arch stick out further.

there's that, and then there's just running more or less camber to get your wheel to sit where you want it.

Yeah, I drilled a big hole and all the gauge wires come through that and run to the gauges. And above the radio is my switch panel. Its an ARC 8000D unit.

do any of my zenki bros here have a junyan driver side corner light? you'd be a life saver, and I would offer sexual favors in return.

Oh, and Koopa, i finally got my origin type 2's.... just had to buy a Zenki to get them...

BTW, the south will rise again...

Hit up BG/Black Guy (yes, ask for Black Guy) @ Enjuku, as far as i know they keep them in stock there, or can at least order them from their Origin Distributor. Tell him Marshall/BZ82 sent you to him, and he may knock down the price a little bit, or work with you on shipping.

Origin Fenders - S14 type 2 50mm Overfenders - Enjuku Racing Parts, LLC

EDIT: other than that, they pop up used like once a year, no one likes to pay $300+shipping for overs in the S bucket world, nahmeen?
