i am well aware of the ar5 swap. according to the wiki page the ar5 trans is rated for no more than 260 ft lb of tq (I think the solstice guys beg to differ, but whatever). Not sure about you, but that's not a lot of power. There is also the CD009.

plus, I don't have any S or Z chassis. I have an altezza, R154s bolt right up to my shit with the right bellhousing. The w55s in manual altezzas fall apart when you start making power.

more or less, what I was getting at is R154s have gotten stupid expensive in the recent years. that's DIW. :/
