i must say i am a fan of ken / enjuku he is backing his product 100%, i am very torn on this, i have wanted to get spl, and like he said higher quality stuff cost, more money but its VERY reassuring to see someone backing up a product like this. I daily drive my car, i wont act like i am some drift ninja or anything but when i am ready to do my suspension, these will be an option for me mainly knowing that someone like ken is behind them

Thanks, just got her a month or so ago so still work in progress.
Rims are just temp cuz the rims that came on the car are sunken battle ships and shitty tires, i wanted some good tires for the trips. PO had Work VSKF's and had the rear fenders pull for them so i'm probably gonna get a set of them since they looked really good on it too.

Got my Isis Arms in the mail today. Took ~12 days to arrive into San Diego from Florida via UPS Ground Shipping.
A few things I noticed about the arms I inspected the arms and found this on one of the toe rods: I'm not an expert at welding. Don't know if that's the actual weld that's cracked or the powdercoat. Taking it down soon to my welder to take a look at it, clean it up and re-weld if need be. The studs on the Tension Rods don't look seated all the way. A few washers and an air ratchet should fix that right up! The mounting forks on one of the Toe Rods seems off visually. I'll have to get a level and see if it's my eyes playing tricks with me. All-in-All I am VERY happy with the purchase. The welds may not look pretty, however for the price, I can't complain. I will be installing these at a buddy's house after I check out the pieces a little more carefully. Cheers! |

Thank you for the review.
If your welder friend has any issues with it, just let us know and we will get it replaced right away. I am pretty sure it is just the coating, as I dont see a weld cracking if a part is still new in the box, but we will take care of it if there is any doubt or issue. thanks Ken

yes, the welds on my Arms looked a bit shakey, but they were penetraded all the way through. So im sure they will hold up.
cant really beat them for the price tho. Legit

Just going by some visual inspection guidelines, that weld looks plenty strong, but if it were a piece that were seen I'd probably fail it and have the welder clean it up a bit.
You should be okay. |

got get me a set of these...
and for those cryin about these being from china....its probably made out there because of CHEAP LABOR..if anything the parts made by JIC, raw material come from china...shit nike and jordan products are made in china, and people go crazy for em... a company make their product overseas for their benefit, for cheap labor and cheap (price wise) raw material, that doesnt necessary mean the product it self is made WITH cheap material. for the price like that. and from the looks of it. pretty good, those welds are probably a dime a dozen. |

UPDATE!
I posted about getting my arms and one of the toe rods having a slight crack in it: Went to my welder to take a look at it the other day. He said it looked like the settings weren't hot enough when it was welded. He took a wire wheel attachment to get into the "crack" to see what was up. Turns out... it was GOOD! He said the weld was a little undercut and cast a mean little shadow, but it had good enough penetration. He recommended that it should be welded a tad bit hotter, but All in All, it's good to go! +1 for Ken, Enjuku, and Isis!!! Last edited by Katsumbhong; 07-17-2010 at 12:41 AM.. |
