is 17x10 22plus offset on an s13 gonna need some modification(tubs?) to fit for the front?? probly gonna run a 215.

No tubs unless you wanna run almost no camber and big tires for more grip.
If anything you will need wide fenders if you want big tire and no camber.
But yes they will fit just tuck you engine harness and run camber as needed and since you gonna run a 215/40 i assume you should be fine with stock fender.

Google does wonders. Ha. This guy if i remember has these mustang reps which are 17x10.5+27 but im pretty sure he's running spacers.

The strut pictured on willtheyfit.com is almost perfect fit to S13 on Megan coilovers. 17x9.5 +12 fits, but barely. interesting.

17x10 +22 won't fit.

no need for tubs unless you want to run an angle kit. +22 will rub. you'll need to run a spacer. my friends mustangs red are 18x10 +22 and won't clear his megan tracks. he running a 225. not sure on the sidewall size. also on 20mm fenders.

I'm glad you posted that. It leads me to this question: Would that same setup fit on Megan coilovers if you had these? These extended brackets are supposed to give you 25mm more backspace between your wheel and your coilover... But I haven't seen anyone running them. Thoughts and opinions?

^yes look at them, they work very well.

it would allow you to run same wheel with less of a spacer, if any.

A friend of mine had those so he could get his 17x10 +22 RPF01's to clear his coils. They worked very well.
