KA24DE minor valve adjustment cost?

I was told that my stock KA24de requires a minor valve adjustment. Could someone give me an idea as to what the auto shops cost maybe? Thank you.

It's easy/cheap to check the valve adjustment, but might be pricey if they need to swap any of the shims.

I'd be inclined not to worry about it if the valves aren't noisy.

I took it to a guy that operates a drift school here in So Cal and he said that it runs well and is quiet but is slightly tight. The problem is it throws a bit of white smoke occasionally on startup. I need to get it to pass SMOG inspection, thanks for your response.
