i just bought my s13, and im getting a lot of extra road noise in the rear end of my s13, it gets MUCH MUCH MUCH quieter when i load the right rear...it sounds like a roar, ive slid under the rear end while its on the ground and didnt see anything visually and grabbed the drive axles and shook them and they didnt have any play, also the drive shaft looks like its newer, and in good condition...thoughts?

EDIT: also forgot to mention it gets louder with speed, does not seem to be gear related

Also can the diff output shafts (the 5 or 6 bolt connection that bolts the diff to the axles) be removed?

If they are removed out of the diff, can I use a set of output shafts from an open diff? S14 Open diff output shafts into a J30 diff.

Does anyone wanna trade a zenki 180sx bumper (with smic vent) for a Q's silvia bumper?

Clarification: I have a silvia bumper, I want the 180sx bumper.

As I stated on the last page, as long as they are the same type.
6 bolt must be in 6 bolt (5 in 5).
VSLD shafts (one long one short) must go back with VLSD differentials.
Open Shafts (both same size) must go back into an OPEN differential
(you can't mix and match them)

No. Search next time. Small Q thread doesn't mean 'dont' search and ask'

Can someone who has a 240sx hatchback with the wing off take measurements for me and tell me at what points the holes are at?

I'm trying to see if a kouki 180sx hatchback has the same mounting locations as the USA 240sx hatchback.

Thank You!

Can't boost over .5bar. would it be better to run straight vacuum from the Intake manifold to the Boost controller? I turned the BC all the way open and can only hit .5 bar, then my hose came off my Intake tube how it's hooked up and hit 1bar. It's an s13 swapped rb25.

Also if I rev the car up and let the rpms drop it will shut all the way off unless is tap the gas to keep it alive. could this be lack of fuel? Right now I am running the stock s13 fuel pump, but I am going to be buying the 255. I was just curious if this is it?

Should the a/c fan turn on when you turn the ignition to ON? never did this until i shut the engine off by pulling the coilpack harness. (don't ask me why)

if i have a greddy oil cooler/diff brand oil cooler/sandwhich plate and what blitz gauges, for example, would the thread size/pitch be the same? Are they universal or do i need adapters?

For Sale section. KA and SR clutch fans are different though so get the correct one. it bolts to the water pump pulley.

I dont think the dip stick would be causing it to leak that much oil, but ill give it a try.. You just hit it in? Or do you screw it in? Or..

You can just get some hose and connect it to the bov and run it back into your intake after the Maf sensor.
http://turboneticsinc.com/forum/turb...ypassValve.pdf

That is a link to the one I have but it should help explain how to recirculate it. It is down on page 2.

Totally not needed, in fact I think there was even a TSB on it. KA's don't need it either.
