S14 light ideas!?

Hey guys...
Just got some 14 rear lights and was wondering if anyone had tinted them red? if so if they had any pictures?!

i was also tempted to try and fit some LED's in the 14 lights in the far right hand side where the red plastic is...

any info would be much appreciated!

Thank you

USDM tailights have those while JDM and Euro doesnt. JDM/Euro only has reflectors in place.

So all you Noobs, JDM tail lights are not better than USDM ones.

I see London I see France I see Yanngs underpants. I always wanted to tint my orange reflectors red too, but I think it will only look good if you crack the lense open and do it from the inside. Other than that its going to look cheap and shitty.

Or you can always run red LED bulbs...it'll light up red.

If you do it right it looks oem. And no you don't paint the inside of the lens. Either spray it with a candy apple additive added to automotive clearcoat or use a vinyl wrap.

LED retrofitted taillights look very good but be prepared for some tough work to make it look and perform well.

I've been told that if you constantly use a bulb in the reflector area that it can actually melt the taillights. Not sure how true it is, but it did come from a reputable person. Something about it not being designed for that or something.

That being said, I would just try to get them off of an american seller.

Holy hell, that is one fine example of an S14. I'm not even a fan of the wingless trunk look but that rear lip/valance more than makes up for it. CCW Classics, too ^_^

Love it.
