I know how it is with the mate paint, Like Roids widebody S13 with the GT body kit, it looks good with the mate black paint , looked super aggressive, but if it had shiny paint it would look like the best s13 out there..
I still think your car is one of the baddest right now..also super agressive! love the flares....dont get me wrong, but the shinyness would make it top!

that's not a bad deal if bumper/lip is clean
lip is going the way of the type x one
and the factory install on the bumper has a lot of holes and bolts

350 dollars for a lip, man you guys are funny lol. Is it like the special edition can't find it anywhere lip? I got my spare jdm bumper for like a buck fiddy from crimson rocket, bout to put it back on the car and send the vertex bumper off for repaint/repair number 3 and finally ball up for a clear bra.

shit is looking real haggard now.

That's one of the 9k racing models in my car, haha she was posing on the passenger side of the door and got some lip gloss or make up on my door that was almost impossible for me to get off of the paint lol.

JDM + Lip will be a worthy substitute while the Vertex front is gone. I don't really see what you mean by haggard though. Perhaps it's not close enough to show imperfections. The main thing that catches my eye is the intercooler debris but that is obviously going to happen on any daily driven car that slammed.

Was your car on Hellaflush like a year ago? I remember seeing a black Kouki on red wheels like yours, good shit.

nah no lip, I enjoy the driveway clearance with the plain ass front bumper lol.

When I originally got it repainted/repaired my brother only really sanded down the upper part of the bumper and not the lip, so the paint has craters on the lip area. He said "you're just going to fuck it up again anyway so why repaint the whole thing all nice" lol

Well I guess after I had it towed the front bumper just got RAPED by rocks so the whole thing looks like I grabbed a paint brush covered in liquid paper and just flicked it everywhere. it's fucking gross.

factory lip is going extinct
~$450 when it was still easy to find
having it factory installed on the bumper is a big plus
since there's all kinds of hardware and bolts

but as been discussed before
making urethane body pieces is a very difficult
and not to mention expensive ordeal
large quantities are needed to make individual pieces affordable
if it were easy and cheap, all aftermarket bodykits would be urethane
it's probably easier to diy carbon body pieces
