So, I'm chatting with Grant, and he tells me that he wants to get an SR20DE. So, I answer saying "DET". He goes: "No, SR20DE". So, I ask him where he got this. He says he got it off of the official Nissan site. I say "Bull*$&. Back it up. "
So he sends me this link:

http://www.nissan.co.jp/SILVIA/S15/0105/SPEC/index.html.

Turns out there's an actual SR20DE for the S15 Silvia. Naturally aspirated. I never knew that..... Did any of you people know this?

yeah, that's what i've been saying the whole time when ppl mention sr's or silvias, i hate when ppl say it's rice to say ur car is a silvia if it's not turbo. it is like that for all of silvias from like 89-present as well. when i was there they classified them as silvia q's - n/a, siliva k's-turbo, n silvia j's - n/a (not 2 sure on the j's, but it should be n/a). the silvia q's (na), depending on the year, have like 140-155 hp, not exactly accurate, but i know it's right around that range. but the sr20de"T"s r in the 200hp+ range.

yupz... that sounds rite

i would imagine that the S15's n/a engine would be 200hp+ tho, granted the S15 SR20DET is 250hp... never heard much about it.
anyone know for sure?

i've known about it for a couple years, thanks to Gran Turismo 2.

S15 n/a 164hp 141tq turbo is 247hp 202tq
i checked some websites, and it seems to be accurate

kinda off topic, on gt3 i fixed up an n/a S15 and it did 13 flat in the quarter, not too shabby!
