I have been searching around for S13.4 conversions i have been reading in couple of places that the S14 front end is a bit wider than the S13s so a wide body kit would need to be used. I have seen from this pictures that the fender used does not seems to be wider as i have seen in some other S13.4 projects. I see that the in the front of the fender has the S14 "lines" and in the back it matches the S13 "lines" that goes all the way to the back of the car. Where did you get the fenders from? Did you have to cut the radiator support to fit?
Thanks man, the fenders were from RaceOnUSA. Ive never heard of anyone having to run a widebody kit on theirs, as far as the hood goes Im using a VIS OEM style carbon hood with S14 Hood Hinges, and a Version Select IV front bumper. I do know that the BMagic Fenders are a 20mm(??) conversion overfender though so maybe thats what theyre referring to. No cutting was involved on the radiator support.

wow good job man. I would have thrown away both cars.

question. Why didn't you just purchase a clean shell from say cali and have it shipped. It looks like it would have saved you money if you consider your time being worth anything. Which you should because you look to be doing professional work.

Sorry for the delay on updates been busy with work and the car itself.

So I worked on the bodywork Saturday. Im happy to say that Ive got bodywork done on both doors and the passenger quarter as well as the trunk lock and antenna that were shaved. Ive got a small ding on the roof to repair then thats done, only thing thats really left is the passenger quarter which is close as well.

Im still needing to get the front fenders lined up properly but thats something Im hoping to get done towards the end of the week. Im started ordering the parts Im needing but unfortunately Ive hit a snag on my rear bumper, the Origin Lab one I was wanting has jumped in price from what was once $250 to now $335 dollars plus $120 for shipping. So thats thrown a small wrench into my game plan, but hopefully Ill figure something out.

Ok so now both doors as well as the roof and passenger quarter are under primer. Ive started blocking them and hope to have them finished soon. Hopefully I can get the drivers quarter and decklid under primer soon. Ordered my intake manifold gasket I needed so I can put the motorstuff back together, and Im planning on ordering the rear aero from Touge Factory tomorrow.

I stayed up at the shop for several hours tonight. The conversion fenders were ok in areas then suckfest in others so I had a few hours in getting them to where i was happy with them. I still have some body work to do on them, but theyre now bolted in place. After that I started working on the sideskirts, those are now fit up and bolted into place. Next I moved on to the bumper, it was quite the pain in the ass getting it on the car and bolting up alone but with some 2x4s I was able to get the job done. Its now bolted up but a few brackets need to be made for the middle since its not really designed to be on this car. They really dont need to be there, but Im adding them for extra support. I still need to mess with the hood a bit and get the gaps more even, but thats a easier job with two people. Ive finished blocking the car with 150, followed by 320, now Im ready to wet 600 the car and hopefully get the trunk and driver quarter under primer soon. Im going to be ordering the rest of my parts on monday so hopefully that will bring the rest of this jigsaw puzzle together.

I borrowed one of my buddys M3 wheels and threw on it, stock wheels and shadow offset ftl....lol. However 19s are a bit too big....hahaha

What radiator support did you end up using with the Raceon fenders?

Thanks bro, yeah Yuri's car was the reason I wanted one. I had a 96 with a kouki front but i had to sell it due to a surgery I had to pay for, I found the coupe on a deal but I wanted my kouki back so this is how it all started.

Using the stock radiator support, Just making my own headlight brackets, its not really that hard and it will save you a lot of time and money. I think Yuri is the one who told me to do this in the first place..lol

hopefully the body work you are doing will prevent the front end from aiming TO THE MOON.

It seems every s13 with s14 front end has an awkward alignment where the bumper ramps up.

it doesnt help that a lot of kouki s14 bumpers have that giant ramp angle to begin with. like dousans car when it was silver.

Thanks again everyone.

So Ive started working on the wiring the past few days. Ive got quite a bit done actually but theres still a few more hours of work that need put into it.
I went to Napa like 3 freaking times today, buying various hose clamps, an assortment of, by the foot, vacuum lines, wiring loom and made my heater hoses.
My intake manifold gasket came in today as well. (Nismoparts.com is awesome for having OEM RB parts in stock) Its now installed, and the wiring on the top of the motor is now pretty much complete.

Ok so the updates for these past few days are as followed. Im about 90 percent done with my wiring. Just gotta make sure ive got everything plugged in correctly, have the maf and O2 wires to extend still but thats it for that portion. Ive got the alternator bolted on as well as the power steering pump to make sure everything was going to clear where I had moved things around. The pics shall explain the rest a bit more.

With all components bolted into place.

Talk about a tight fit....lol

This doesnt look like much but these were a real pain in the ass to put on and bend around the crossmember without kinking them.

New heater hoses and all new vacuum lines have been ran on the car.

The new FMIC arrived today, so I should be able to get it mocked up for charge pipes soon.

And the VIP taillights showed up as well.....haha
