Yeah small update..got my last and final intercooler pipe back from the chromers installed it. Nasty blue coupler is a temp until the Vibrant one comes in. Piping is all done and tightened down..yay!

Chrome vinyl came in going to start cutting and laying it this week. Matches the pink powder coat

Hood has arrived from seibon, wheels are at AME and will be here this week! Car will be ready to rock by the end of this week..finally!!!

P.S. Alex you're awesome...tons of fun last night..thanks for the laughs!

Are you going to put a stock clutchfan/shroud back on this? I know its efficient, but spend all that money anodizing pulleys to cover em up? SPAL fan!

wow amazing buildup and great attention to detail! sick, and 100x bonus points for being a lady doing the work herself. overtorqued bolts, hahaa, thats the truth, thats how you learn hands on and learn from mistakes, you'll never forget that work when you do it all yourself. big props to you.

your shiny pink/white car is the yin to my flatblack LS1FC yang, if you were closer it'd be fun to do a car photoshoot together. best of luck on finishing up the build and getting it on the road to have some smoky tire shredding fun!

The vinyl is for sponsors..its a requirement when they help you out and its nice to be able to support people that support you.
For now I will run a clutch fan. In AZ it gets to about 117 in the summer..some motors can keep cool with a clutch fan and some need electric pusher and puller fans...depends on the condition of the motor. There is a custom fabbed fan shroud being made so I will try that route first. If I have cooling issues then I will add a pusher fan..and if I continue to have issues I will do a fully electric set up. The anodizing of pulleys was a gift from my sponsor..and it rocks!
The AME Wheels in the beginning photos have been replaced. Though I loved those wheels, I wanted a lower offset front and rear. I buy wheels like most girls buy shoes..
My oil relocation kit came in..so off to install that, my hood, and start putting the body parts back on! It might be started today????

Hahaha this thread is what I love about Zilvia.

1) It surprised me... like a couple others, I assumed it was a guy's car, and was going to say how cute it was that his good lookin Gf was helping... then I looked @ the username... then I felt dumb.
2) Actual good parts/good fabrication. No BS builds here, kids.
3) Zilvia Heavyweights weighing in - everyone knows Jack apparently, even in other states. Steve has a custom RSS feed set up so he knows whenever the words 'engine management' come up on zilvia. Koopa actually has a nice turbo setup and likes to bomb on the hopes and dreams of kids who don't. Good stuff.

Excellent car, can't wait to see the wheels/engine management/final look - not to mention track pics
