In the bay area you will get a ticket for exhaust if it's loud or not. As long as it looks like it isn't stock.

I'd like the exhaust to have a sound resonator because not every track allows you to have a hell raising loud exhaust.

A quiet, yet throaty sounding dual 3" exhaust would be pretty hot.

GROUND CLEARANCE!!

That's also important...

Other than that, I don't have any problem with the prototype.

I would be interested if it comes with 3" tips, and offering with or without resonator would be smart.

Fitting well is key though, if it hangs low no dice.

Holy fuck you must not buy anything Chinese if you seriously cannot pull your head out of your own ass far enough to realize the keyboard you're typing on is probably made in China, or pretty much everything else you've used and have not failed yet.

Metal piping with flanges welded on shouldn't be very expensive at all.

Stainless Steel please.

Well, the first section is obviously exactly the same as all the Ebay exhausts, even the hangers on the second section are the same. The stainless steel and welds look identical.
Unless there are more companies that produce exactly the same thing.
Sorry, I don't mean to be a jerk, just curious...

Hangers are slightly different.

There really aren't that many ways to have the fewest bends in a three inch pipe under a 240.

you need to take that tampon out of your crotch and relax a bit. Im saying as far as cost for quality metals and good labor, Msrp is a bit low for them to make a decent profit.I understand alot of products are made in china and taiwan, however like most big corporations manufacturing products in china/taiwan I highly doubt this ISIS company has their engineers in china monitoring good quality control.

Wow, looks exactly the same, just swapped the muffler out and put in the dual pipes. Used the same hangers too. At least, that's what it looks like. Whoever is selling this might get in trouble somehow if that's the case.

Its a pipe with hangers...... you cant really change up the design of a cat back exhaust seeing that it can only be hung one way.

The Tip design and resonators is the only difference you have a choice between two pipes or one pipe or a long tip or a short tip. Its kinda hard not to make the same exhaust as another one.

The hangers are placed in the same location because that where the stock hangers are. Who cares about hanger location they need to be in the same spot so you can hang it!

So you're asking the companies that will eventually carry ISIS products to jack up the price, knowing full well (at least you claim you know full well) that their quality is shit?

Well good job buddy.

Why don't you let Ken worry about the MSRP and you go on "tampon patrol" instead? :ghey:

It isnt some mysterious thing - who cares where its made - you're going to smash it up anyways and its an exhaust pipe - its not a camshaft or a intake manifold. Theres very little that goes into it - it just has to fit...

I think it was made perfectly clear in another thread that ISIS was knockoff stuff with their freddy intake manifold and oil cooler(although its better quality that the stuff u generally get dirt cheap off ebay). The exhaust looks good and isnt noticeably knocking off some other companies equipment (like the intake mani).

Well, everything isn't so black and white out here.

Laguna Seca has noise regulations amongst other tracks.

A race track up here was closed down pretty much because of the noise associated with racing and drifting.

Sure hell could be raised against people who move next to a race track.

But chances are the people against the track will win.

So instead of complaining and crying what I believe is fair about how loud a car should be, I rather follow rules so I can continue to have a somewhat local place to be able to go to.

I know how loud it can get.

As well as how I know people who have been black flagged also because of noise.

The new ghetto drift track that is opening up in norcal has a 80db limit I believe.

Honestly, I don't care what direction they decide to go with building the exhaust.

It was only said so they could put that into consideration..

Yes it is, and I have one.

That mofo is TOUGH as fuck.

Hitting armadillo carcass at like 45mph? Only a dent.

Manhole cover? Only took out a small chunk of 1 of the flanges.

The can has seen its fair share of scraping and speed bumps, and it's fine.

Honestly, if this ISIS exhaust will be dual 3" piping, sticks out past the fender or at least have adjustable tips, is decently quiet, has great ground clearance, and built strong as fuck just in case it does take some hits and it doesn't break? Then you will have a winnarrrrr!!
